Plum Crazy Diner

Good quick breakfast. My husband the Philly cheese steak omelette and I had the veggie omelette. The omelettes were very good. The ham steak was perfectly cooked. The coffee was delicious. We really weren't fans of the home fries they needed seasoning badly. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean to include the restrooms. My only real complaint was we waited a good 10 minutes for the server to take our tab.

Stopped here for dinner after friends recommended it but unfortunately the food was not very good. We tried their Fried Chicken Strips Dinner, Chicken Parmesan and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The waitress was great though, cheerful and helpful. The chicken in each of the dishes was overcooked and dry. The sauce in the Chicken Parm tasted like stewed tomatoes straight out of the can and the sliced bread “Garlic Toast” was not edible. The corn in the Chicken Strips was cold and dry. The bacon in the sandwich was old, also overcooked and tasteless. I usually try to return to restaurants that I had a bad experience at to see if the food and service is better the second time around but not in this case. We were that disappointed.

Everything you'd expect in a traditional 50s style diner. Almost all of the seating options are booths although there are some tables and a small breakfast bar. Checkered tile floors and neon add to the visual atmosphere. The menu has standard roadside offerings and unlike the many corporate diner choices, EVERY ITEM IS COOKED FRESH! I've been eating here for years and either Kelsey or Katie ALWAYS take good care of me! Service is quick and atentive. Prices are excellent.

My husband had the Italian meatloaf. It was mostly filler and mushy. The spaghetti was also mushy. We had fried mac and cheese bites. They were good but cold in the center. I had the chicken tenders. Too salty. The desert was great. We had ice cream The service was good. We had to wait to long for the waitress to pick up our payment.

Terrible service. Very slow to be seated and to order food. Server called us rude for saying the order was wrong and that the sides were cold. The server then refused to acknowledge us or check on us at all while she sat and ate a sandwich and was on her phone. The “manager” gave an excuse that she isn’t used to working weekends. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, what day of the week, or what restaurant, a server should never treat a customer like that. After being a loyal customer for more than 10 years, my family will never go back.

Wr are fome out of state. Looked this restaurant up on Google. Thought it would we a good place to have breakfast. Checked our the menu as well. So we drove 20 minutes to get there. Not very friendly. The menu was totally different from on line snd prises way much higher, 😳Food was ok. Waitress never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. Husband had to flag her down. And there weren't very many people in there As we were leaving there was something all over the floor going out the door, looked like someone got sick,
