Hideaway Steakhouse

Where do I even begin? My wife and I visited this restaurant for the very first time to celebrate our anniversary. Everyone was immediately friendly, welcoming and just all around pleasant. The service was top notch (shout-out to Jason being on point the entire night and knocking it out of the park in every single category). The food. Holy smokes, the food. Since it was our anniversary, we wanted to go all out and try their "best of the best" steaks and, my God....Steak will never be the same again. Do yourselves a favor and choose a night to splurge a bit and get some of their high end steaks. I will have dreams about that steak for weeks. It can definitely be spendy, but you get what you pay for: Amazing service, amazing food and an amazing lunch/dinner.

Boyfriend and I came in on VDay and it was a really nice experience, the food was great, the menu was diverse, service was 10/10 only thing to knock was the price but that's why we went for a special occasion 😂 We got the fried alligator, filet mignon and scallops, elk loin, strawberry crème brûlée, and chocolate cake. All of that ended up being almost $200 plus a hefty tip which is what I expected. Will be going again :)

Well let's start with the good. The drinks and appetizers were very good. We had the mussels and the alligator apps and they were both something to recommend. Now for the bad.. We ordered salads, the wedge and the beet. The wedge was just lackluster for the price. It included bacon bits not real bacon and two slices of cherry tomatoes. The beet salad was underwhelming and the beets tasted canned. The entrees we're the Ribeye special and the fillet. With the ribeye special we ordered two diver scallops as a side. The horseradish encrusted ribeye had for some reason balsamic vinegar on it which created a really weird taste mixed with the wet texture of the horseradish was less than appealing. On top of that, the diver scallops which were cooked perfectly, unfortunately, we're spoiled and tasted like ammonia. Management did take those away and did reduce our bill based upon the spoiled scallops. Management did come over and address the table about the scallops and assured us that we would not be sick because they were only a day old. Interestingly, I had never worried about being sick cuz I only ate a piece of it, but it was just a little bit bizarre that that was how it was addressed rather than if there's anything that could be done to correct it. The filet was ordered with shrimp scampi side. This is the first shrimp scampi I've seen that was in a thicker orange sauce that really did not resemble what you would anticipate to be a scampi. The fillet was supposed to be served medium rare instead. Was definitely medium if not close to medium. Well. For the prices they charge at this restaurant, it was definitely disappointing. We eat at many fine steakhouses and I would have to say unfortunately this would not be one. We would recommend to anybody based upon our experience. For the prices that are charged in the level of the food delivered, it definitely is not one of the top spots to eat in Denver.

The ambiance was beautiful! Our servers name was Chris; he was so down to earth and pleasant. Our service was on point 👏. The food was a treat. We had the 14 Oz New York with a demi glaze Broccolini and mushroom pudding. It was to die for. What a romantic night Thank you hideaway end Chris For the wonderful experience

My husband and I love this place! The ambiance is always excellent, so is the service. The food is really tasty - we've had them cook our steaks literally perfect. Couldn't be more perfect. Recently we ordered a bunch of appetizers to try them out and didn't really love them, but wouldn't say we disliked them either. I can't get enough of their filets, mac & cheese, and hazelnut chocolate mousse! Can't wait to go back.
