First time here, and I loved it! I tried their Bahn mi sandwich, ordered #7. It's so good! I also ordered coconut corssants, which were delicious. I got an order of rice cake dessert. There were 5 in a container. They were okay but not something I would order again. They have a huge variety of sweet bread and also sell cheesecake! If you are in the area give it a try, the staff is very nice!
Great place for Banh Mi sandwiches. A huge selection of vegan sandwiches. Baguette are on the softer side but has a great chew. Fillings are favorful. For some reason the jalapenos had no kick....hmm. Pricing for the sandwiches are under $8. The coconut croissants are also very good. They must be popular. The lady said a fresh batch came out of the oven and a customer ordered all but 3. I got those.

If you’re looking for traditional Vietnamese pastries with vegan options, this is the spot for you. Their vegan croissants and Xôi Vį are really good. They also have vegan Bánh Mi sandwiches. It’s all pretty affordable too.

Very good quality bakery. My sister has been a customer of Dong Hung Vien bakery for 10+ years and I've eaten their bake goods for many times. The quality has always been consistent good. Today was my first time visiting the bakery. The store is very clean and organized. The staff and owner are very friendly. Their prices are a little high but it's worth it for the good quality. It'll be one of my favorites in Santa Ana.
The only problem with this place is that they won’t let me live here!!! The baked goods are fresh and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are numerous vegan options that are often times even better than their traditional counterparts. After working my way through all of Southern California, I can confidently say that the banh mi are the best I’ve ever had. My entire family is hooked. Also, the packaging is beautiful and they take a lot of care in the labeling of vegan items. Be sure to get there early to snag some of the sesame donuts and coconut croissants!
Absolutely delicious bakery in socal. The bread here is exceptional and their banh mi is probably the best I've had. They also have an impressive amount of vegetarian options which my gf appreciated. I tried it and was very very impressed. Good prices, great customer service and great food.
This place is absolutely, hands down 🙌 the best vegan bahn mi’s in so cal… I'm not talking about tofu or veg only. They have a vegan chicken and vegan pork that even my meat-eating family LOVES!! I always get their bahn mi’s for my parties at the request of my family. They have great presentation and every sandwich is labelled. They have delicious pastries also and are SUPER. There is no better value 💯 🔥
I was (gently pressured) to try out their coconut croissants a few months ago during my first visit. Listen, I bloody hate coconut flakes anything with a passion. This little bakery has completely changed my mind - it is fresh, not too sweet, texture is just right and goes so well with the croissant. Love their banh mi as well, sad to see their buy 2 get 1 deal go away but understandable that it's not a sustainable practice for them. Hoping to eat my way through some of the other Vietnamese desserts they have but I always get sidetracked by those damn coconut croissants now! 😅
