Barone’s Pizzeria

The food here is delicious, we had the BBQ chicken Pizza and it was awesome. The house Melot is good and the prices are great. They have a great happy hour. We hosted a mixer here and the patio area was perfect for us. The service is amazing, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the owner is genuine and takes great care of his customers. I highly recommend this place.

I went tonight with my family. The three stars are for the food, which was pretty tasty. The lack of the other two stars are for the quality of service. When I ordered, I was asked, "What side do you want, fries or salad?" I ordered fries, not knowing that there would be an extra charge. My family had already received and eaten their food. My meatball sandwich finally arrived. I had asked for no cheese and there was melted cheese on top. Being lactose intolerant, I had to send it back (I HAD asked for no cheese). It was a simple sandwich, toasted roll with meatballs. It took five minutes for them to replace it (a bit long to toast bread but okay). My plate was then brought with parmesan cheese on my fries. All of this and not a single person said a simple "I'm sorry." I asked to speak to a manager, who still never actually apologized, and I basically demanded free gelato for my kids, who had to sit and wait for me to eat my dinner. Never an apology. She also never replaced my fries without cheese. I know asking for no cheese is not ideal but it's also not complicated. I'm pretty forgiving because I worked retail for years and a simple apology would've gone a long way.

Horrible customer service called in an order for small cheese pizza was quote 10-min arrived 10-mins to be told 5 mins. After 15 mins I cancelled my order. I literally took out my cell phone While in your pizza joint I literally picked up my phone called BJ’s brewery and place an order for pizza picked it up 10 minutes later ready to go.

Love Barones in Valley Glen and have been coming to this location since they opened. Last few visits have been sub par. Today I didn't get the ranch I asked and paid for, got the appetizer after the meal and the pizza crust was hard as a rock. They also got their teas mixed up in the pots. Instead of the black tea I wanted I got the Mango. I think I will have to skip this location and make special outings to the Valley to get good pizza.
