Wonderful place for lunch. The portion size, and the people are more than what we expected for a quick bite. The dog was friendly, the service was casual. Food tasted great. The place looked rustic with unique decorations. If get a chance, I will definitely visit again.
The best BBQ on the planet! I've been North South East and West and this place is it, right in my own backyard. Just go! The portions are huge, everything is home made. Can't be beat.

I am no expert when it comes to BBQ, so all I will say is that every time I go there, I enjoy the hell out of the food! Any dish I get is always two meals worth of food. Brisket, pulled pork, all great. The sweet potato fries are the best anywhere. The baked beans are just sweet enough. And I love the decor and atmosphere, all the signs, the various guitars - the place is a perfectly wonderful shack serving wonderful food. Once I had this massive smoked prime rib cut that was juicy, perfectly cooked to medium rare, and massive in size. The people who run the place are laid back and very friendly; you will never feel rushed here. In the summertime you can sit out on their patio or picnic tables. Make sure you ask about anything not on the menu, because often they will have specials that are not listed (they'll probably mention them at the counter). Don't pass it up - worth a special trip.

We decided to roll down the highway and the middle of a snowstorm to go get some barbecue an hour away. Not only was this totally worth the trip but the food was excellent and the portions were huge. Definitely maximum bang for your dollar when it comes to BBQ.

We had pulled pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, dogs, burgers, coleslaw, collards, beans, shrimp!! Sweet potato fries, EVERYTHING was so delicious. Owners are super cool. Friendly, clean, inside or outside tables.

Great BBQ! Biggest price of prime rib we've ever ordered. Brisket was Amazing. Smoky, tender and perfectly seasoned. Reasonably priced for portion sizes. Will be back.
