Bob Evans

The food is average. It's American fair that's okay. I liked the turkey dinner, wasn't the most flavorful but it satisfied my appetite. The pancakes were anomic in color but were fine. The sausage/bacon were as expected. The eggs were all overcooked but not horrible. The potatoes were fine. The biscuits/rolls were fine. Price was a bit higher than I expected for what you get. Overall it's what I expected and just okay when you are in a pinch.

Today. Sunday. July 3. I stopped at this Bob Evans in Westerville it was greeted by a very kind young lady who seated me quickly. I was quickly waited on they are young petite sweetheart of a waitress it was wearing glasses. She was roughly around 20? Very polite. Very genuine. It was roughly 11 AM. There was a table catty corner from me. With a group of people including a young mentally challenged youth. He was talking to himself and speaking loudly at times. It broke my heart to watch this and I said a prayer for that young man his family . Bottom line. They complained about the service. And left no tip. I’m guessing the leader of that group an older man was just frustrated with life. But called the manager over to complain. I know in my heart. This young lady was too sweet and respectful . She did nothing wrong.. And to see her be disrespected. Bothered me also. to the manager of the store. Be thankful you have good workers like the ones I met today and take everything that customers complain about with a grain of salt. I’m guessing you know these folks these workers you have and you know they would never be hurtful.

After working for the chain in Summers from late high school through a year after college, have always been a fan of the food and overall friendly atmosphere and excellent pricing for the offerings, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This location has almost always delivered solid service with a smile along with the food quality I've come to love and respect year upon year. When it comes to getting a satisfying meal for the right money, this is the place to eat.

A rating of 3.9 is high. This location is terrible. 3 staff for an entire restaurant. They could only seat 4 tables. They are struggling like most with no staff BUT service and effort cost nothing and they cant do either. I had a simple carryout of 2 salads. Ordered 1/2 ahead and still waited another 1/2 hour to get food. Bad management and a staff that could care less. Might as well close the doors.

I ordered on Doordash and was scheduled to pick up my two dinners at 5:20pm. When I arrived there were no places to park for curbside pick up and as I sat in my car I realized why, two associates that work at the restaurant were parked in those spaces. I called once, twice, three times and no answer. I then went into the restaurant and there were 2 other gentleman waiting for orders. I observed 5 young people standing around behind the counter, not one of the acknowledged any of us waiting. I finally spoke up and said" Could someone help me please?" Finally a young lady came over, looked at my order and then said " oh they still making it ...it ain't ready." I then stand and wait and finally another young lady says "what's your name?" I explain and show her my order and she then points to the bag on the counter " Is this your initials". Ma'am I don't know what those initials mean ....I show her my order again. I look at the receipt and lo and behold its my order. I then aske her to look in the bag and make sure my order is correct...she just looks at me so I open the bag and my soup is spilled over, my pie is spilled over and the rolls and bread have come out of their container.
