We had breakfast and dinner here during our recent stay at the Renaissance hotel. The restaurant offers inside and outside dining areas with a view of the scenic landscaping and ponds. The breakfast menu had many of the standard choices but also offered burgers in case you were grabbing a bite to eat closer to lunch time. We both got scrambled eggs with bacon, potatoes, and toast. Everything was perfectly cooked and the service at breakfast was top-notch. At dinner I got the fish and chips and my husband ordered a burger. The food was good but the service was a bit slow and inconsistent at dinner. We were there on a Saturday evening and there was live entertainment starting at 7:00 p.m. so we were able to enjoy the guitarist. On the other side of the restaurant there is a large bar area and there are lots of different seating options available in the main lobby as well as kind of off to the sides, so it's nice to have dinner and then move to one of the other areas to continue enjoying the music. It's also really relaxing to take a little stroll around the ponds and fountain area after dinner.

It's a high-end and cozy place. The service is good, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is delicious. However, it took us extra 20 minutes to wait for the food we ordered ahead. It'd be better if you dine in.

I had a horrible mother's day dinner. Rice was crunchy, beer was old, mixed drinks were too strong. I'm literally in tears because I was looking forward to a nice dinner and I left hungry (kitchen too busy to ask for any other food). I'm just sadly disappointed.

Kate is the best bartender ever!!!!!
She really helped us enjoy our evening. Fantastic ambiance and lots of work stations for a business visit. Great vibe. The lobster truffle fries are amazing!

I've been to this restaurant a handful of times and can say my experience has been consistent each occurrence.
First of all, the bar/restaurant area is just gorgeous with all the windows and lighting. It is really a surprise since the hotel is tucked in a corner of a more commercial area of Westerville. It's worth it just to peak in.
Second - and I'm not normally a fan of hotel restaurants - the food is really good. I've had three different meals (steak, chicken, and flatbread) and all three were fantastic! The bar is very well stocked. It was surprising some of the whiskey they had.
Third - the service is spot on. They've found a consistent group of employees who really work well together. You never go long waiting on anything.
Finally it is fun to see the entertainment they have on Wednesdays. Quality every time.
It is a little pricey but the atmosphere and service definitely make up for it.

Great food, drinks, and ambiance! Very large outdoor patio and large whisky and bourbon selection.

Bland and overly salted food, doesn't taste like it was made in house. Horrible management. Service was polite but slow. Took over 40 minutes for us to get our check sorted out. Management was supposed to contact us but there has been silence on their end. Will not go back. Don't go here. It's a hotel restaurant, no customer service and plenty of better restaurants in the polaris area to try.
