Minico's

The food was good, not as good as in previous years, the lasagne seemed to have less meat and cheese as before the pandemic. The main reason is the service. I keep tying to go there because they are local, but the man who waits on us at take out is very "put out" to wait on us and we have to ask for items that should be included with a take out order. (At least items that previously were provided without asking), butter, napkins, cutlery. These we ask for and then get a sigh, like it is a high effort to give this man business. Lucky for him today is our last day. I have heard from staff he is difficult to work for, I try not to out too much stock in that but it is too hard to give him money and we have Cardone's, Giamarcos or Pasquales, all local and all great food. Not sure what happened, but it was the man who drove us away.

Nice neighborhood Italian restaurant. Perfect balance of quality and cost. I had a ~$14 baked ziti, and it was really tasty, good quantity, and came with a side salad. Relaxed enough atmosphere that the kids can be themselves, but still a nice place. Comfy booths. Gluten free pasta options and pizza. Really friendly service. We'll be back!
