In the last year and a half I’ve stayed here about 5 times already. The views are amazing, the staff is great, and the guests are pleasant. I’ve had different conversations with other people that stay here and enjoy hearing where they’re visiting from. Also the cod sandwich is awesome! I’m already planning for my multiple visits next year 😄. P.S not sure where everyone is paying 500 plus a night for rooms, I’ve got great rooms and never paid that.

This hotel is an absolute gem with unbeatable views. We stayed 3 nights in an ocean front room. You can tell the rooms have been recently renovated with lots of modern touches. The room came with a fridge as well as a balcony with 2 chairs overlooking the ocean. We arrived early and Susan was able to get us checked in a little early. In the evening we hung out by the fire pits by the pool. Their restaurant serves lunch and dinner and is amazing as well. I highly recommend the pleasant view inn! It's such a relaxing place.

We had a short stay at the Pleasant View this time, and it was as pleasant and accommodating as our longer stays. Upon arrival Krista was ready to check us in, and call for help with our luggage. The room was clean, and had a fantastic ocean view. Our large family was there, and we needed reservations for twenty-two for dinner, and Susan Sciro was very helpful in securing a reservation for us. She also recommended Ashley as our waitress, who did a great job in keeping the food coming. She was very pleasant and friendly, and did a great job. Our thanks went out to Joe, for cooking such fabulous tasting meals. All in all I would recommend the Pleasant View for their hospitality, and their restaurant for a great meal.

So. I was hoping that on the reviews someone would have posted a picture of a restricted ocean view room which is what i have. Well for anyone who is curious. This is my room. Room # 140 if you can request it 1st floor. Not saying every restricted room will be like the one i got. Upon checking in you get 2 coupons with your key cards for complementary drinks. I don't drink alcohol so i gave mine to family who does. All and all ive always loved coming here. This is my 1st time coming here booking my own room. Growing up i was always here thanks to my grandparents and always had an ocean view room. Keeping the tradition going in there memory. The pool is heated and you can walk right in. The menu is limited / the food how ever is amazing.

Just returned from a last-minute 3 night getaway. Krista personally made the reservation as I originally had trouble booking on a 3rd party site. She arranged exactly what I wanted; at a better rate than I was quoted. We had a double, ocean front room. It was adorable. I Loved the resort -- so typical of New England. We ate a few lunches on premises; food & service good and dined out for dinner in area restaurants. Looking forward to bringing our grandchildren and other family members later this Fall.

My wife and I live in Jax, FL. We are very familiar with beach life and hotels from top to bottom. This hotel is an ABSOLUTE GEM! For starters understanding the history of the building it is really nice and cute. We stayed on the 3rd floor right on the water. At times during high tide it can appear like you're actually above the water itself which is about as close to the waves we have ever stayed! The charm of the place is just remarkable and the location can't be beaten! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the guest were pleasant and respectful even while drinking lol. The RESTURAUNT was top notch and one of our personal favorites in the area. From traveling to Connecticut to Block Island the resturaunt was easily our favorite. Our hostess Juliana was very friendly and sat us in desired locations promptly. Our servers Ashley and Vlad were quite accommodating and made us feel at home. Seafood in the south has alot of Cajun seasoning and they provided us of a small taste from home by creating Cajun ranch for us lol! Joseph one of the cooks even came out to ask us how our food was. Great young man with a nice head on his shoulders. Saturday night the hotel had specials for dinner my wife had an Argentinian inspired dish with steak. I had the Japanese inspired Blue fin tuna. It was one of the best dishes I've ever had. Joe the GM I believe was cooking that night and shared some stories with us and we gave proper props for how delightful the evening was. I really like the flow of the hotel and I believe they have the right guy running the show. The entire stay seriously felt like staying with Family. We loved every bit of it and will definitely stay here again our next visit. The hotel is also located near a few cute shops the Wife loved. We had some of the little mermaids homemade ice cream and also enjoyed paddle boating at the purple ape up the road.

Just finished up a week at the Inn. Great place and great spot right on the beach. Dined a few nights in the restaurant and food was great and our server Ashley, who after assisting us on day one, we specifically asked for every time we returned. She was simply the best. Can't wait to come back!
