My friend and I had an exceptional evening at Cafe Gino's in Westbury. The cozy atmosphere and friendly ambiance immediately put us at ease. Despite it being a Thursday night, the place was surprisingly quiet, providing us with a peaceful dining experience.
The cleanliness and beautiful decor of the restaurant set the stage for what turned out to be a delightful meal. We started with the stuffed mushrooms, a flavorful appetizer that left us eager for more. For the main course, we opted for the penne alla vodka, a traditional homemade delight. We customized our order, requesting half with basil and half with shrimp, and it was large enough for us to share. The combination of flavors was simply exquisite.
Despite a slightly longer wait than expected, our patient anticipation was rewarded with attentive service from a courteous waiter. We complemented our meal with a glass of Merlot and a glass of red Zinfandel, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
In addition to the fantastic food, what stood out was the warm hospitality and genuine care shown by the staff. Their dedication to ensuring our needs were met enhanced our dining experience.
Cafe Gino's in Westbury left us thoroughly impressed, earning a well-deserved five out of five rating. If you're seeking a delightful dining experience with excellent food and welcoming service, Cafe Gino's is the place to be. We left with satisfied taste buds and happy hearts, looking forward to our next visit.
Visited Gino’s a couple of times. Each time the food has been consistently good, tastes fresh! We’ve yet to try the pizza, but I recommend the bolognese and Chicken Parmesan entrees. They’re both excellent. Maybe next time we’ll try a couple of slices!
The first time we found this place was by accident and we loved it!! The establishment itself is cozy. We ordered appetizers all but the eggplant was not good, I never had an eggplant appetizer with ham and it didn’t help that the appetizers were cold. The fried calamari, mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms were delicious!! The pizza was also delicious. We tried the desserts and they were pretty good. Just a note, if you have their desserts with ice cream the ice cream is very frozen, takes a while to thaw and enjoy. Be prepared for a long waiting period there’s only one waiter. As for parking is not too hard to find
Pizza restaurant was great. The pizza was very tasty and the service was fast. The atmosphere was nice and the price was reasonable. I would definitely go there again.
We absolutely love Cafe Ginos! It’s our go to comfy pasta place. I’m so glad we discovered it because we always go there when we’re craving a fresh, homemade meal. The pasta is always well made and their bread is amazing. I love their ravioli vodka. It’s THE best. The service is exceptional always, no matter who our server is. Thank you for always accommodating us. We go there biweekly at this point. Love it!
Great Pizza... friendly service... our favorite was the bolognese pizza slice... sausage slice was great too
Delicious pizza, you can get individual slices or pies. Sicillian, strombolis, and deserts. Eat in available, nice sofas for sitting. Clean. Nice staff. 10$ minimum for credit card charge. Fountain drinks and bottle drinks available. I enjoyed the pizza slices. Definitely recommend.
Pretty tasty margherita slice.
Used to come here a lot many years ago, good to see it still here.
Place still looks as new as it was 10 years ago.
Pizzeria & Restaurant. Food was all decent, but baked clams & eggplant didn't taste fresh.
I’m from Brooklyn so I’m very critical of pizza. Very good quality, more crisp than floppy, delicious. Currently inside eating the best broccoli slice I ever had. Their bolognese slice is also tasty and filling.
