Bill's Seafood Restaurant

Nice sunny early March day, we went for a ride on the shore. Lunch at Bill's Seafood in Westbrook. Ordered sea scallop platter and the fish and chips. The scallops were perfectly fried with and were delicious, Cole slaw had nice flavor. My wife had the fish and chips she said same about a nice light fried taste and more than enough great tasting fish. great stop, unfortunately we were inside and didn't get the added attraction of the Singing Bridge. nice place to stop and enjoy a good seafood meal.

Went to Bill’s for Mother’s Day and they were ready for us Mom’s! We always get the steamers as they’re so good and I usually get their amazing tuna melt but this trip, I had their prime rib (1st time) and it was delicious. My husband had the whole belly clams which are always delicious! Love this place, highly recommend. Oh! And we got ice cream for the drive home….so good!

Staying at SH marina in town. Had delicious fresh oysters. Amazing dinner at the bar. Great service. My husband had prime rib & thanks to bartender Barney’s suggestion, I had Seafood Fra Diavlo with Shrimp, Scallops, Mussels, Calamari & Clams over Linguine w/Garlic Bread. Didn’t disappoint, highly recommend & will be back if in port again.

It was a casual Saturday lunch. When I came in the restaurant, I was standing and wait for several minutes even there were number of employees were chilling on the bar. I felt like 'ah~ they don't care.' That was my first impression. However, once the sever starts to take care of us, everything is smooth and fine. Prices were reasonable. The portion and serving speed were better than expected. The outside bench seats were a little uncomfortable.... The experience was very OK.

First timer. Very busy, bustling, Cape Cod style seafood restaurant near the water. They seated us within 15 minutes on a Saturday night at 6:00 pm in a nice corner booth for five. The waitress was friendly, helpful, funny, and patient. I got the scallops and fried clams combo with french fries and extra cole slaw. All were perfect. The scallops were the most tender I have ever had and the fried clams were among the best. I had a bite of the baked stuffed shrimp stuffing and it was the best. The shrimp could have been bigger and more of them. There were people directing parking and there's an ice cream shop in the parking lot. Only real drawback was the band took forever to set up. It was annoying and whoever did the sound could have done better because the band has potential. Definitely try this place out for the food!!!
