Matt, the bartender, was excellent. Friendly and attentive. We had the chicken wings in the bourbon sauce - crispy and delicious. The onion rings were great. My husband had the steak tips, just melt in your mouth tender. I had the Hot Buttered Lobster Roll - huge chunks of fresh lobster in a roll, with coleslaw and fresh chips. Everything was delicious. Look forward to coming back!

Skip the tuna poke wontons. Wasn’t bad but nothing special.
Outstanding food, quick friendly and helpful service. The chowder was excellent and very creamy so I can see why it won many awards. The Caeser salad was quite tasty as well but had a bit too much dressing. Got the fish and chips crunchy style which was excellent. Overall great experience and can understand why it is so popular and well visited.
The appetizer was good, nacho's. Clam Chowder 8.2, good stuff, would recommend. The wife had apple and walnut salad. She said it was real good. Dessert was excellent, both of them. Service was a solid 10. Atmosphere can't be beat. Felt like hometown spot to a tourist.
We sat on the patio on a beautiful day. The staff was friendly, we were told a 20 minute wait, it was only 9 minutes!
Food came quickly after we ordered. Everything was delicious. Cooked just right, flavored even more perfectly. Highly recommend stopping if you’re in on the south end of the cape!
Nice little place. Onion rings are really good. Lazy mans lobster was decent. However, wife ordered a steak cooked medium, but it came out well done. Like really well done. All in all, other than that debacle, it was good.
CHOWDER IS THE BEST (OR AS GOOD AS THE BEST) I JAVE HAD. COME HERE FOR THE CHOWDER.
The fried food is light fried, so not heavy greasy.
They have a nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Was happy to try one as I do not drink.

beware- the "mate" size is larger than you would think (see pic) . mate size is 6oz the "captain size" is 12oz.
It is a bit on the expensive side, esp for lunch, but the chowder is worth it!
I was recommended this place by my bf, he did not disappoint! The french fry shape was unique and different from any other shape I've seen before. The clam chowder is indeed the best! I ordered the Atlantic Salmon covered with everything seasoning. Which was a combination I hadn't thought to try, once again it was delicious! The noise level was very loud, but not distracting. The Mer made cocktail hit the spot on my search for an alcoholic blue beverage.
Great clam chowder! Mac and cheese on its own was a bit too "milky" tasting for me.

What a great find, we decided to stop for lunch, plenty of seats the atmosphere is relaxing, casual and wonderful staff. Now lets talk about the food where to begin, their award winning clam chowder is one of the best I had. Their fish and chips is right on point, not oily or greasy like most places. The wild salmon grilled and mouth drooling mashed potatoes were a beautiful site and taste. My husband had their hamburger with fries and he loved it, my son had the grilled chicken wrap (a bit skimpy on the chicken), but overall he told me is was ok (he is super peaky). My dad and my younger son both had the fish and fresh fries. For appetizers we had the Shrimp ceviche (little spicy) and calamari both delish. They have a nice menu selection for everyone even children a must stop to enjoy a wonderful meal and plenty of parking.
