The store is always so much fun to go through, and I love that they have candy. You can't find other places. The chicken fried chicken is so good, but the mash potatoes weren't that great, and the biscuits were OK. My kids loved their mini cheeseburgers. I loved that you could pick out a free dessert for your birthday.
Loved my food and prices were fantastic. Took a very long time before a waitress came to my table. The only issue I ever really have is the noise level there.
We love the pancakes here and the shopping of course. My hubby had the pancake tacos… I wanted to say I’m always impressed how clean their restrooms are. They are spotless!!
The wait time was less then we were told so that was nice. The store was fun to explore while we waited. Almost all the food we had was pretty good. The corn bread was very bland and the sausage was strange tasting, my kids said. But overall it was a good experience and the first time for most of our group, they all enjoyed it and said they’d visit again.
Absolutely excellent quality and delicious food. Authentic American and a lovely experience. I'm Cockernese (Cockney born within the hearing of Bow Bells in the east end of London town) and my palate is heavily influenced by our traditions. Consequently I find American people like their food sweet and a bit much for me. Can I recommend pie, mash, liquor and jellied eels. It would be great to see the Cockernese influence spreading. Doesn't it look great.
First time eating here with my family. The food was actually really good. Depending on what you get depends on the portion size. I would suggest getting the chicken fried chicken. You can definitely share it with someone or if you like leftovers it’s perfect for that. The gift shop was fun to walk around and definitely ended up buying a few candies and soda.
Note: if you haven’t been before you pay your bill in the gift shop or on mobile pay. We had a gift card to use and mobile pay doesn’t have an option to use a gift card. So we sat there for a while waiting for someone to come get the bill and payment. No one came, so I did a Google search to find out how to pay the bill.
I love Cracker Barrels! This one was great. We got there before the rush...ordered and got food fast.
I got the Old Timers with scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, fried apples (YUM!), and bacon (have learned I don't like their smoked sausage patty and the ham is too salty). Mine was very tasty.
My bro enjoyed his Grandma breakfast with the French Toast, fried apples, bacon, smoked sausage ( he didn't like it either), and scrambled eggs.
My friend got the Hashbrown bowl with scrambled eggs and bacon. She said it was amazing.
Yesterday was my very first time at Cracker Barrel and I was a bit nervous. When my family was seated Amanda was at our table with a big smile and ready to help. I had plenty of questions and she was more than happy to answer them. She was very patient with my two year old and to me thats the most important thing. She continued to check up on us and grab us whatever we needed. I’ve never been more impressed with a server. She was funny, efficient, quick and helpful. Great first experience
I was so excited to bring my mom in because of the last experience I had. We walked in and got lucky enough to have the same server which is really funny because I was telling my mom all about her. And just like i was, my mom was laughing the entire time. She kept ordering small things just to continue conversation with her lol. Thank you again. We had a great time. Amanda is the best!
Family get together, including a three year old grandchild.
Lunch crowd, arrived at 1210pm and put on waiting list.
Took about 16 minutes to get seated, and about another 5 minutes for our server to come to then table. Lunch rush, got our food at about 115pm.
We got the grandchild a burger and fries, which was a quarter of a burger, divided, on two small biscuits. She took the two top buns put butter and jelly on them and was good.
The rest of us had your Cracker Barrel menus staples and drinks and were good as well.
