We stopped in late Saturday afternoon and the place wasn't very busy. We were able to select the table of our choice. Our server was efficient and checked on us frequently. We ordered the Rachel, a grilled cheese & bacon sandwich, and the Senior portion of chicken fingers. I have never before seen a Childrens and Seniors menu, and I thought it was a great idea. As sides we had chips, fries, and tater tots. The chips were crisp and delicious. The food we ordered was good, especially the chicken fingers. They were crispy instead of soggy. They arrived at our table sauce-less, and I asked our server for medium sauce, which she readily supplied. They came with blue cheese and celery. There was a good amount of well cooked bacon on the grilled cheese sandwich, although the bread wasn't anything special. The beer selection was varied and interesting , and I was excited to see UFO Blueberry available. The restaurant had a large open dining area, and was decorated for Christmas. There is ample parking in the lot right outside the door. The location is convenient, right off the thruway exit on Union.

This review is based off of the soft pretzels, hot pepper soup, three pigs macaroni and cheese, and hamburger. The pretzels were very soft, the cheese sauce was just average. The hot pepper soup was thick rich creamy and delicious with a nice spicy kick, the sausage in the soup was very tender and flavorful. I would definitely order that again. The macaroni and cheese was good, very cheesy and had ham, bacon, and sausage, all very good and tender. The burger was thick, the roll that it came on was buttered and toasted. It meat wasn't super flavorful, just a mediocre Burger. The fries were fresh cut and not frozen.

Came in for my Anniversary and was blown away. Food was great, service was great. The onion petals were amazing and their homemade zesty sauce was primo. My husband had the Black n Bleu burger and I had the Stinger mac n cheese. Best Mac I've ever had! Will come back again and again so many more macs to try 😍😍😍

I can't deny that this place has the best Mac and Cheese on the East Coast. Having traveled up and down I have not found better. Went on a Wednesday night and the place was literally packed to the gills. The Mac and Cheese was PERFECT. I would recommend the Three Little Pigs. Man is it good. Hard Pass on the Hog Wings. They were over cooked and dry and came out almost 25 minutes after my mac and cheese. They were also much smaller than in the past. The waitress kept saying they were just waiting to be sauced but once you saw them you know they were just way way overcooked. They used to be amazing. Like mind blowingly good. but I won't order them again and I don't recommend anyone else order them. Buy the Mac And Cheese though. If you come to Buffalo don't bother with the Anchor Bar or Duffs. Go to Mooney's for the Mac and Cheese!!!

If you’re looking for a fancy meal with a high end wait staff, this is not the place for you. Mooney’s, if you’ve never been, is just your average sports bar in these parts of the woods. You come here for the Mac & aCheese. I promise you, it’s the best Mac & Cheese you’ll ever have in your entire life. *chef’s kiss* The decor and ambiance is out-of-date rundown sports bar. The food is middle of the road quality, but usually still tastes delicious. But the Mac & Cheese though… seriously.

Ordered a couple of drinks while waiting for our son's hockey game, bartender was friendly and efficient. The only downside was the wait for our to go order, we ordered three hoagies and it took almost 50 minutes which surprised us as neither the bar or dining room were particularly busy. Still good food and service from the young lady behind the bar.

Ordered onion petals and pretzels, petals arrived timely waited 20-25 minutes for app of pretzel’s, only for the them to arrive with a cup of cheese that looked like it was 10 days under a heat lamp. Dinner arrived 45minutes or so after arriving and ordering. We ordered 2 fish fries, 10 wings, a deli salad and a small mac & cheese. Food arrived warm, not even hot. I was the only one with a fork, when we asked for silverware we were told they didnt have any at the moment it was being washed. Hubby ate his wings and stared at his salad for 15 minutes and uncle ate his fish and fries with his finger. Mac and cheese came with a spoon so able to eat that only to find a 1 inch piece of plastic mixed in. When we asked the waitress for the manager we were told that her manager was off and she would get the kitchen manager. He came out and was very polite and listened to all of our concerns, informed us that the owner was actually in the building and was going to go talk to him. Upon his return he informs us that the owner was “too busy” to deal with our issues and take $40 off our bill. Seriously what owner says that!!!! So needless to say our overall experience was terrible and iffy at best if we ever return.
