A very nice and small dining room with outdoor seating available. I came here with my parents for dinner here and we’ve also been here for brunch in which both meals tasted so delicious! I gotta say that their pretzel is so good and I couldn’t stop eating it.
Great divish bar, but has amazing cocktails and surprisingly good food.
The food menu is limited, but it's great. They rotate specials, and they are always good. There is both bar food and things like burgers and tacos.
The staff is always great, very friendly and the bartenders make excellent drinks, which change during different seasons.
There is usually seating available every time we go, so it's a great place to drop by.
Met up with a friend for lunch on a Sunday. Was hoping to get the regular menu...we didn't realize it was brunch. We were not disappointed. We both got Benny's...her the fried chicken and waffles, me the ham, avocado and tomato. White sangria was spot on as well. Will definitely come back for dinner. Maybe take advantage of the cute patio and atmosphere.
A good spot here for sure! I feel like it’s a sleeper. Not many know yet how good it is.
Food was great. Really enjoyed our meal here. Chicken and red velvet waffles hit the spot. I definitely want to try some of the French toast or pancakes next time.
My wife loved her burger. Good real well.

Decent drinks. Good selection of LI brews. Not the biggest menu but food was delicious. Wings were mediocre- not enough flavor. Pretzel was good. They had weinerschnitzel on special and it was excellent. Tater tots with Chipotle dip is the bomb, and you can get toppings on the tots like pork belly and other good toppings. Burger was great. They add a gratuity for parties of 6 or more. Chill outdoor seating area.
I love this place! I first went when they first opened and the owner was hanging lights in the outdoor area. Pretty nice guy! I'm a vegetarian so I can't say much for majority of their food, but their Mac and Cheese is pretty bomb. You can also customize it with additional toppings (for an added charge). Their tater tots are interesting, they're like a cross in between a Knish, Latke and Hashbrown, but I think they're pretty bomb.
Really cool spot. Fun alternative to The Shed for Brunch. Took my my friends and it was a hit. 3 of us had the Churro Waffle w/Chicken with Frose’s with one person going with the Avocado Toast with Cold Brew—- Delicious, all around !!!! - The waffles were a kick in the but with the first bite b/c of the sweetness, but when you combine the spices with the chicken. BOOM! Flavor explosion. Our attendant was great and we already can’t wait to go back and try out the dinner menu. Keep up the fantastic work ladies and gents! Go- Enjoy everyone
Jess is always incredible 👍🏽 so we had another great night on the deck. Lily the hostess made sure the outside seats were dry..... Dave March was playing a great playlist...everything was just perfect. One of our friends had major allergies Bob the bartender and Pablo I told he kitchen made the night too by keeping him safe.
South shore dive is one of the only places I come to alone whenever I want to enjoy an evening. Bobby and Jules were amazing and so accommodating it was such a pleasure to hang out with them for awhile. Best drinks and good food, highly recommend stopping by!
