The service was very slow. My husband now went to lunch there at noon. But it was not busy and we got a table immediately. Our waitress was very slow. She was too busy playing bartender and flirting with the bartender who didn't look like he needed any help. Especially when we were trying to leave. And we noticed the ticket was not correct, The special soft drink and The special soft drink and salad bar was $5 for add on to entree. They charged us for our drinks or soft drinks drinks which was over $3. We were never even offered refills on our soft drinks. My husband ordered a hamburger with brisket on it. The waitress asked how he would like to get cooked medium rare. It came out well done. The brisket was kind of fatty too. I was just very disappointed with the whole experience.

Spectacular lunch with my bestie at a restaurant we had not visited before. *The flies would be my only complaint - I am used to them but not fond. Our server was good, the food was absolutely delicious. We were blown away by the Mac N Cheese. The Philly Cheese Steak is the best I have had. Daughter described the mushrooms on the sandwich, "they take your taste buds on a ride"

The most difficult part about traveling through the Midwest is eating. Today we had to settle for another chain restaurant.
PROS-
The restaurant was fairly busy yet we still had quick service.
The place was clean and tidy (much clearer than most chains).
The ruby burger & fries were fairly decent for chain restaurant food.
The server runs your card and settles the tab right there at the table. This expedited the checkout process considerably.
Staff was friendly
CONS-
The salmon. Nowhere does the menu indicate whether or not the salmon is farmed or wild caught.....which means it was farmed. I have to dock any restaurant considerably for serving farmed salmon as it is extremely unhealthy (I don't mean that it simply lacks the health benefits of wild salmon...no. It's actually very unhealthy for you and very inhumane)
Bathroom was tidy (THANK YOU) although it has a sulfury sewer odor. Fix your pipes y'all.
Dressings are plain preserved dull bottled dressings. Then again, nothing in a chain is all that fresh and flavorful.

At the West Plains restaurant... smaller than most I've been in... only a bit surprising, because it's a college town.
Cleanliness was very good. Menu was kinda jumble. Salad bar was just okay, as well as the service... but nice smiles when we entered and left.

of course ruby tuesdays is stellar and I love love the chain .. this west plains, mo location still open and its always been a favorite ..
the salad bar yummy still and I regularly get the chicken breast with asiago cheese, bacon, some sort of sauce, and mushrooms ..
pic is a selfie because no one wanted to be in the public post .. (hah) .
only because of the following reason which website agree upon ..
the decision to deduct at least one star .. and why Im putting 4 stars instead of 5, is the ladies room .. there has Always been a sewer smell in there when I go .. and it has been like this for years .. please fix your pipe vents !
please !
the rancid odor knocks you over and is coming from somewhere and cmon guys .. you need to do something about it .. !
friendly staff, good food, but the restroom issue needs immediate attention ..
4 stars .

We enjoyed our meal there recently. Normally, I would give it 5 ⭐️ s but I took off 2 because of something to watch out for:
The bill they give you kindly calculates tips for 15%, 18%, and 20%, I believe. I wanted to do what I could afford, which was 15%. However, when you go to pay, the lowest tip to select with a button is 18%. So, you have to do several extra steps to choose the tip you want pushing you to a higher tip.

We went for a Philly Cheese Steak craving and came out with an obsession for the Mac N Cheese! Great lunch with family. Quiet, clean, and delicious place to eat locally. The lemonade is also highly recommended :)
