Texas Roadhouse

Giving five stars, despite an appetizer being left out of our to-go order because the food and service we did receive were excellent. The to-go associate was very helpful and friendly. We both overlooked the fact that our Rattlesnake Bites were not in the bag because the bag was full! They provided lots of sauces and dips as requested, utensils, rolls, and napkins. The food was still warm, even after a 20 mile drive and very delicious. Great portion sizes, and the salads were cool and crisp. I’ve eaten at this location in person before as well and the service is always top notch. The food is consistently good and I stand behind a statement I made when I first moved to NELA; Texas Roadhouse is the best chain restaurant around.

Our waitress was great. There was a large crowd the day we went, so we sat at the bar to receive quicker service. We did have a longer wait than usual, but that was to be expected. Our drinks were great. Appetizers were hot and good. Our meals, which we usually don’t change often, were amazing as well. Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite restaurants and always meets my expectations.

Food is fantastic, but it definitely isn’t as much food for more price lately. We order normally same meals when we eat there. The country fried steak is smaller, potatoes less and gravely less amount, corn and green beans less amount that it use to be served. They went up $1, and went down some Oz on side dishes and country steak. But the food is still good so far. The service is great! Remember always tip your servers!! They work hard, even if you think they don’t! Be kind and courteous to them.

I just had the absolute BEST customer service I've ever experienced at a restaurant (including Chick-fil-A). If you dine at the Monroe, LA location, do yourself a favor and ask to be served by a guy named Canaan!! God blessed my daughter and I with the "privilege" of having Canaan as our server tonight. This guy was ON IT!! He was extremely nice, helpful, and friendly! He was very knowledgeable about the menu items and actually made very good suggestions for what to order and how to have it prepared. He checked on us constantly, inundated us with acts of kindness, and made certain that we had a "memorable" dining experience! This guy was a freaking Rock Star!! And, I sincerely hope that management expresses their appreciation to Canaan after reading this!!

Ordered a steak, wasn't cooked enough, well done was cooked to a medium. Sent it back to be cooked more, wait and wait, server brings the check out. My husband is like she never got her steak back. So instead of just cooking my steak more, they bring out a whole new steak, and by this time my husband is completely finished eating, and instead of giving me the steak and taking it off the ticket, they take the steak back too... ridiculous! Will not be back!! I'm usually not one to complain
