Let's start with the food cause that's why you are reading this. Get the perfect pot roast. They know what they are doing with that lovely goodness. My wife and I both loved it and the Sour Ale. Fish and chips were on point with that moist white flakey fish just making you wish it was during Lent, and you were Catholic.
Now let me tell you what NOT to get and what they are NOT good at.
If a restaurant has anything with nachos or soft pretzels, we are trying all of it. Both of these are overpriced but set that aside cause that's not where I'm taking you. It's about the food here. If you want to feel like you are eating nachos from a baseball game, this will hit your mark, anything more bougie than that, and you'll most likely be disappointed. Also, I had a better soft pretzel at Sam's club last week, and don't let the word "trio" fool you. It's one pretzel and three-quarter cup of okay sauces. Use sparingly, but you need more cause this thing is not soft and leaves your mouth feeling like you just stuffed it full of an entire sleeve of saltine crackers.
Service, 5 stars for us. She was prompt polite and knew what she was doing. Typical Brewery setting in that the prices are for your food AND their experience, which is why I would say most think the prices are a little high. Again, on par with all the other Brewery prices.
This place is really nice. Excellent service. We had to wait but it was worth it. The bottle cap appetizer was great. Food was good. It took a while for the food to gone but it was good as well. Parking can be complicated. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely recommend for anyone who wants a burger that tastes like a charcoal burger. Some of the best food I have had in a long time. My host Falisha was fantastic and the atmosphere was very fitting. 10/10. Hands down, I am definitely coming back for more
We ordered pickup from here two nights ago and were feeling wary due to the 4.2 star review average. First off, when we called to order a pre-recorded message played saying “today is February 12th and we are closed…” then it continued to ring for a while and we got someone on the phone. One of the items we wanted to order, a Cod sandwich, was still listed on their online menu but the server informed me they didn’t have it anymore. She said she might be able to talk the cook into making it anyways, which we thought was sweet. They said it would probably be about 20 minutes until it was ready. So I go inside to pay and she said it would be about 10 minutes from that point in time. It was closer to 30, and then it wasn’t brought to me at the bar. They set it behind me on the host stand, so it wasn’t until the bartender noticed it over there that I was able to get it and leave. We got home with the food only to realize that they just gave me the cod entree and with the wrong side. So we were stuck with 3 orders of just fried. The food was good, but this place is just so disorganized and no one seemed to be on the same page. That would deter me from going back.
We stopped in for our first time after hiking all day. We were tired and starving. We sat outside which was wonderful and our server quickly got our drinks. She also made perfect suggestions. I ordered the Apple Tarragon Chicken Salad which I am still dreaming about! Oh and french fries, weird I know but they were delicious. My husband got the meatloaf and onion rings which he also loved. We definitely will be coming back to try the Pot Roast. Great food and atmosphere, I highly recommend stopping by.
Visited on a recent Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised with the variety of offerings. Some better than others, but all pretty decent. We tried to get seated for lunch, but there was some kind of miscommunication and couldn't get a table, so I can't vouch for the grub. Otherwise, not a bad little brewery here
Today we had excellent service and delicious food! The Honey Lager wings were perfect and the burger with onions was very good too. We also tried the Chai cider which tasted like autumn.
Visited today, nice place, nice people and pet friendly. Brought out a bowl of ice water for our dog with our drinks. Food was good! I'll be back.
We had been disappointed a couple of times several years ago. Today was our first return since then and we were really impressed with the improvement. Most of the staff were very kind and attentive. Our waitress "Lisa" was a total treat! We split a delicious "happy" soft pretzel for an appetizer. We were glad to see that they are brewing many more of their own brews and they are quite good. We settled in on their Brutal Brown Ale (I guess named after the annual Blue Ridge Brutal Bike Race) and it was very satisfactory. Then we both had their chargrilled meatloaf sammy and beer mac-n-cheese side. Both were quite good. I would recommend that they top the mac with a little cheese and lightly brown it before serving for added visual appeal and a bit of gooey fun. We will be back more often!! Total for 4 pints, big pretzel and 2 entrees plus tax and tip for the 2 of us was $75 (and we took some leftovers home).
Pot roast was amazing as was the fish and chips. Wings were big and perfectly crisp and delicious. Kaylee was excellent! She never let our glasses go empty and checked on us frequently. Kudos!! Highly recommend!!
