Summer Shanty

Beautiful location, food was excellent and service from Britney was efficient and very friendly. Like other reviewers, one star off for the excessive use of single use plastics. Everything is served in or on plastic and given it is such a beautiful area it seems an awful shame to generate such a huge amount of trash.

It was great food - but it would earn 5 Stars if not everything was served in single use. The sauces for the shrimps have had a hint of horseradish, which I truly appreciated and gave an awesome taste. The salad and lobster roll was great as well. Overall, great food - but please move to a more environmentally friendly solution for the dishes themselves.

I wondered in on HOT,busy Wednesday afternoon. I was greeted by the staff at the front door and told them I'd like to sit at the bar. The bartender was a sweet girl named Ashley. She was a delight. She made sure that my water was full along with my cold Corona. I had some awesome scallops that tasted like they were just caught this morning. When in the Dennis area it's a must stop. Ask for Ashley 😁

Nothing says “It’s Summer “ like dinning at one of my Go To Places, Summer Shanty! I have once again chosen The Summer Shanty as my favorite place to be to get THE MOST out of the The Summer Solstice, longest day of the year. Over 15 Hours of Sunlight give plenty of time to have a great meal, and sip on a beverage of your choice. We always get a Lobster Roll dinner that is combined with delicious Clam Chowder for a perfect meal. So we mixed it up with the new Shrimp Rice Bowl which was delicious. There is always a huge fish sandwich with french fries that just melts in your mouth. Never disappointed, always super service, fast service from the kitchen and bar drinks that keep coming make for my Favorite Place to watch sunsets, The Summer Solstice just make the best dinner of the year last longer. We will be back many times before the next 6-21! Dine on the waterfront while sitting on the grass, elevate the view from the large deck or select a table in the dining room if weather dictates. No matter where you sit , the sunsets over the marina on The Bass River making for a fantastic experience.
