Kream 'n Kone

My personal favorite restaurant for fried clams. The chowder is good with lots of clams and thick and creamy. My wife and I share the two item plate with whole belly fried clams, scallops, fries, and onion rings. We like the batter because it is light and lets the seafood flavor shine. I know some people don't like the fact that the food is not served on china plates by wait staff but the quality more than makes up for eating from paper plates with plastic utensils. They could serve it in an old hub cap and still be delicious. Update. We were able to visit today about a week before they close for the season and the food was outstanding. Scallops were sweet and juicy and several fried clams had big bellies which I love.

Travellers, the kreme n Kone is a cape cod classic. This is where you go for the quintessential cape cod dining experience. While so many restaurants these days rely on restaurants supply companies for so aspects of the business including the food, the kreme n Kone is different. There is a reason the cape cod times awards them best restaurant year after year. The food is made there. The clam chowder is delicious. It is a perfect balance of flavors. Then the fried clams are exactly what you want in fried clams. They are delicious and crunchy. They come with fries and coleslaw. The onion rings are also delicious and light and crispy. All the fried plates are yummy and so are the broiled plates. My favorite is the broiled scallops over rice pilaf. Wonderful every time. Scallops are perfectly cooked. There is something on the menu for everyone in the family. Even the tarter sauce is yummy. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR - fantastic family seafood restaurant

More than one person can eat. The fried belly clams and onion rings can't be beat, but pricey. In the summer of 2023, the platter cost more than $33. All the old-timers know how great this place is. Tight parking lot in front, but I think there's more ample parking in the back. Short line to order, then they give you a number for your table and someone brings it out to you. Their soft serve ice cream looked tempting but I was too full.
