Their name says it all. (But each word stands alone). They are gourmet food and are also a deli. I have easily spent thousands of dollars there and have had one or two meals that were not fantastic. Owners are warm and friendly. Large sub is 14" and I think it is actually bigger. Fresh mozzarella is best I have had outside Italy. Their cornbeef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day was so good I will never cook it myself again. They are not cheap but what you get is well worth the money. Hours are awesome too. I wish they had more seating (6 tables) but that is my only criticism. FYI - They deliver too. Tell them Woodpecker sent you!
Decent sandwich. Had the #5 Panini (8.95) Chicken , mozz, balsamic, spring greens on a roll. I wasn't blown away but I wasn't disappointed. It's easy to shine when there is so much mediocre out there. Guess my expectations are too high for this area.
This Deli is great! Best pork roll egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll!! Great subs!! All around good and fair price!! Wish they were in Tampa
This is the best deli I have ever eaten at. It is a small place, but, man, do they have good food. Their cold cuts are premium and delicious and their sandwiches, subs, and regular meals are out of this world. The staff is always nice, and you can sit down and eat a meal if you want. The prices aren't cheap, but for the quality in taste and ingredients, the price is well worth it.
