Panera Bread

At Panera they act like they are the Starbucks of salads and gourmet food. Charging full-service diner prices where is none of the hospitality or charm that a diner may have. In my opinion the management and West Bend should hold themselves to a higher standard. Their service is slow the restaurant is not very clean and people have this lackadaisical approach with not much urgency on a Thursday. At least at Starbucks they are almost always friendly and the place is clean and they move you along even if you’re paying $50 for a cup of coffee. I expect the same from Panera.

I love Panera and was in West Bend for work so I ordered online and drove over. The wait was longer than I expected but they were busy. I received my ordered (pick 2 soup and sandwich) and drove back to my hotel to find the soup had leaked in the bag and my steak sandwich was severely lacking in meat. All I could really taste was bread. I opened it up and moved the meat around a bit just so I could have some with each bite. This is my favorite sandwich, I have never had it so skimpy on meat. And a week later, no response. Also note, I was staying a half hour away so didn't see the meal until I got back to my hotel.

Pretty dirty restaurant. Dishes on tables I could tell had been left there for hours. I had to legit look for a table that was not dirty. A dirty restaurant makes my food taste less delicious. If the front end was that dirty, there's no telling what things look like the the back. The manager appeared unbothered by the filth. I wouldn't bring my dog here.

some of the younger staff seem nice, especially the one who is an ULTRAKILL fan and says hi if they recognize your Metal Gear Solid shirt. otherwise the older staff, particularly management, are insanely rude. they're usually standing behind the kids at the counter glaring at whoever is ordering while waiting to scold the cashiers for any reason. i popped in just before closing to get two cups of soda and one of the management ladies seemed extremely upset that the store still had a few lingering seniors finishing up their meals right at closing time. there were maybe 10-15 people in there eating quietly. she told me i was "welcome to leave" and i informed her i'd do just that lol. i won't be back either and i'm terribly sorry for the kids who have to put up with this as a summer job.

I flew from Louisville, KY to West Bend Airport, we ordered our food and waited 45 minutes then the delivery came in with wrong order with different name. So I had to call back back and let them know. They said we will send your order, and that took forever. I left the airport going back to Louisville, KY without our food.
