It was the worst Friday supper my husband and I had. we love the food but not that night my husband had Fish Fry and I had Ruben and my Ruben was on caraway bread and very very little suarkrut no thousand island and me my best place for a Ruben and here's the picture of the Fish Fry
Met with some friends for a fish fry and picked Brazen Head. It was the right choice, the three of us had a great time. The cook came out to check on us as we were right by the kitchen and joked with us. Our waitress/bartender was fun and on top of everything, no drink got to empty before she was asking if wanted another or anything different. The fish was our main reason for going and it was excellent. Their Guinness battered cod was perfect. The outside was crisp not soggy like other places, and the taste set it above and beyond. Nice crispy fries and I tried the potato of the month which was scoops, seasoned thick cut fries more or less that were cut like scoops. I am looking forward to going back and once you try it you will too.
Absolutely excellent service and delicious food. Bit pricey so 4 instead of 5 stars. 4 tap beers, 1 cheeseburger and chicken strips for 2-person lunch was almost $50. Beautiful back bar!
Seriously one of the BEST places in West Bend to eat. I've never had anything that wasn't delicious. The burgers are amazing, the appetizers are all fantastic, especially the Fried Fungus, and the nightly specials are very popular. LOVE this place.
Bartender was great and food was delicious. I got the daily special buffalo chicken tacos - so good. Burgers were some of the best we've had in a long time.

We had a party of 11 stop by on Feb. 27 in the late afternoon -- in town for a funeral. We searched 'restaurants in West Bend' and found our way downtown to the Brazen Head. And we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were welcoming, and did all they could to squeeze us into the snug towards the back -- we were quickly provided water and menus, drinks ordered, food ordered, and it was just an nice experience after our earlier task of the day. Food came out fast, and it was quite good -- items ordered that received rave reviews were the crispy chicken salad, the blackened chicken salad, the Rueben, and the Rueben rolls... oh, and the tots!
