Pholicious

So I used to love love love this place, and even recently it's been pretty okay.. the past couple times the boba was not great, the drink would separate from the milk and the flavor added... I've never had that happen before. Today not only were they out of rice(?) but that's okay I get it, people run out of stuff it's whatever, we substituted it for the noodles. But. I personally don't eat meat. So I got the tofu spring rolls. (They've always been my favorite there!) but today they smelled rancid. Like a mixture of sour meat or a dirty washcloth. I tried to eat it, but every time I picked it up, I could not take the smell of it. I had my girlfriend tell them because I felt bad, but when she did, the nice cashier asked the cook if he could remake it and he promptly said no because that's how it's supposed to smell.. because of the tofu.. (now if you know anything about tofu or the clear wraps. They have literally no smell.) I was pretty disappointed because, again, that's my favorite thing to eat there. Probably will not come back to try and eat it again. Sad. In a side note, the worker was very nice, I was just upset.

The boba is ok. The pho is ok. Nothing too special but decent to eat. I asked the lady who worked here what are fish balls and she didn’t really answer but it taste kind of like crab. The restaurant looks really dirty and messy. This place has so much potential and overall I don’t think it’s horrible but I probably wouldn’t come back either.

I wish I could say one good thing about this place but this literally was the worst meal I've had. I know that sounds harsh but how do you mess up rice?! It was like cardboard. The Pho was completely tasteless as well. I've had better from a microwave. So sad. I love Vietnamese food and was just completely disappointed.

I ordered a boba and as I was waiting I couldn’t help but notice how dirty the entire counter/order area is. I don’t mind if things are unorganized or dated- heck even cluttered—but dirtiness is unappetizing. I do not plan on stopping in again. (There were a couple of other things that weren’t great but would have overlooked had the place been clean.)
