Burger Monger

The best food I’ve had in months! The fries are PERFECTLY made and salted. The burgers are SO GOOD, perfectly grilled I’ve never had a burger taste so good. And don’t get me started on their shakes. Their strawberry shakes are literal heaven melted in your mouth. I’ve never been so happy eating somewhere & the portions are GREAT. I’d eat here a million more times.

I started coming to this Burger Monger the past month in search of consistently great burgers, as many restaurants have lost their way with their food quality. Let me say these are the best burgers in this area hands down! And the staff is consistently putting out quality food every time I come. Andre the GM here really is doing an amazing job ensuring his cooks are delivering the same level of quality burgers and that is why I keep coming back. Great job to this staff! Love what you are doing there!

So, never been to this restaurant. We were looking for a good quality burger so we decided to give this place a try. The moment we walked in should’ve also been the moment we walked out, but we decided to try it anyway. We were not greeted by the young crew and the place was completely empty except for one couple. We basically had to ask to place our order(s). Young cashier was pretty nice but not overly helpful for people who’ve never been here before. We ordered a couple of burgers and fries, pretty pricey. The fries came out first and we had those almost gone before our burgers ever arrived. The burgers looked appealing and tasted decent, however nothing special, and the bun was served cold. The fries were really good, fresh and hot. Ketchup variety was cool. I pulled a hair out of my mouth eating my burger, which makes sense considering all the young folks working there had both facial hair and long hair not covered in nets or anything else to prevent this from happening. My son ended up with food poisoning and was throwing up all night long and into the next day. Our conclusion, we won’t ever go back to this restaurant.

I'm going to be fair to the quality of the food here. The burgers were GOOD, not great. The quality of ingredients was okay but it was not worth the price. Not even close. The quantity for the price was crazy. Overall, we spent $42. We had two burgers, a drink, a milkshake, a side of onion rings, and a cup of chili. The burgers were the smallest I've ever had for $11. I could have gone to a sit-down restaurant with a server and gotten a cheaper burger and it would have been far larger and more filling. The order of onion rings was $4 and it came with 5 little onion rings. Is the price of onions and batter now so astronomically high that they can't give more than a few? The chili was $4 and was definitely out of a can of some kind. Think Hormel or something. It was disgusting. The milkshake was acceptable. The service : the people were nice enough and helpful but the food came out as pieces. Tell me how my burger beat my chili and onion rings out of the kitchen by about five minutes. I don't want to eat a burger without sides. I want it all served at once. What kind of service brings food out like that? It ruined the experience. I also found a hair IN MY MOUTH while i was waiting on my onion rings to arrive and had to have my burger remade. Insane. My qualifications for this review : I worked in the BOH of many restaurants for 12 years and I've worked FOH for another 5 years. I won't be back to Burger Monger based on the price:quantity ratio and the weird way food is served.
