Taco Loco

This has been one of my favorite restaurants since I moved to Wenatchee in 1997. I regret that I don’t go there more often. There was a time when I went there at least once a week. One thing I’ve noticed about them is that even after the change of ownership, The quality of the food and service did not decline. They are good as ever. What inspired me to write this review is today I ran in there for a quick snack, and thankfully I had mentioned to the server that my daughter and I were catching the bus. I left a very important bag on the seat in the restaurant and the waitress actually ran across the street and found us at the bus station while we were waiting for the bus and give me my bag back. Most waitstaff would wait for you to return to the restaurant for you to get your things back. This was absolutely above and beyond. I wished that I had some cash to give her a reward. If I was starting a business of my own, this is the girl I would hire.

First of all --> great tacos and excellent salsa! (And quick note: this place DOES take credit cards, GPay, APay, etc.) I was worried about finding great tacos in Wenatchee (wife is a travel nurse... and we're from TX), especially after trying a few other places and getting charged a CRAZY price for tiny street tacos. Thankfully, I've found a great spot here. Also had a great conversation with the new owner, who was super helpful, brought me different salsas, and also talked with me about their breakfast burritos. I'll definitely be back... because after all: Transformation, Travel, and Tacos!

Hidden gem located in downtown Wenatchee. Burritos were huge and tasty. The tilapia was cooked perfectly. Guacamole is delicious. Service is friendly and prompt. We did take out, but waited in the dining area which was spotless. Mexican beers and other drinks available for sale. Food and atmosphere felt authentic. I’ll be back when I’m in Wenatchee.
