This is a awesome little hole-in-the-wall bar going to or from Mountain Hood. The service I got from a little old lady with short white hair was fantastic! The food was really good as well. And even at 10 a.m. they will cook the whole menu. The drinks are good everything is reasonably priced the bat
Very lovely locals place. Was nice to see they had some small breweries on tap as well as your general beer that you can find practically anywhere. We didn't get any food only drinks. The table next to us did though, and it smelled amazing (BBQ wings). The chairs were comfortable as well and plenty
The the only place I know on or near the mountain to watch the Blazer games. Very accommodating. We also went there to watch football games. They have a special menu and then also free hot dogs etc. According to my husband, they have the best fried chicken.
Cool little spot with a great mix of local flavor and accepting of strangers from near and far. Great bartenders, cozy leather chairs, solid pool table and delicious food! Couldn't ask for a better pit stop!
This was our first time visiting the Shack and we will definitely go there again! The food was amazing and the portions were huge! It was a bonus that to play pool is free on Sunday so after our meal we were able to enjoy a couple of games.
We stopped here on our way home from Sunriver and it was absolutely delish and family friendly. I had the shack burger and it was huge and the best burgers I ever had and the fries are da bomb!!! We stop every time through town. A local spot but the staff is friendly and engaging. Last time through I ordered a Boneyard Diablo Rojo, so happens a Boneyard sales rep was sitting to my left and bought me a beer.
We hit up the Shack for Taco Tuesday when we get a craving for American style tacos which seems to be around 4 times a year. Tacos and a couple Beers with a short walk home. Perfect!
Decent food. Great prices. Bartender was awesome. Definitely a place of "regulars" but that's fine. I'd eat there again.
We've gone back three time during our stay up here and have loved every visit. Trust the reviews on the fried chicken, it is amazing.

So if you're traveling up to the mountain The Shack is one of those spots that you got to stop out the foods good there's games to play there's always room there's a nice patio Outdoors the staff they treat you like your family don't forget to tip them though
Nice place. Typically spend a couple hours here. It's enjoyable around 1-5 for that afternoon drink. Evenings can be quite busy.
If your in the villages then this is the spot. Excellent price point and bar games galore. With one of the later running kitchens on the mtn it's an excellent Saturday night.
