If you’re headed up the mountain be sure to grab breakfast at Dragonfly. Took my out of town family to breakfast here. We ordered biscuits and gravy, a wild mushroom omelette, the breakfast burrito and French toast sticks for the kids. Everything was homemade, fresh and delicious! The kids French toast sticks was a good sized serving, and was the best French toast I’ve ever had. My wild mushroom omelette was delicious and so were the potatoes on the side. Hubby says the breakfast burrito was one of the best he’s ever had and the cornmeal biscuits were to die for. All of the bread is baked in house. We ordered a cinnamon roll to split - It wasn’t your typical cinnamon roll. It was less sweet and more bread like than expected but it was a fun twist on my favorite pastry. 10/10 recommend.
Fantastic breakfast! So uncommon to find a place that does every item so well. Lots of care and great service. Wonderful way to start a day.
Decided to check out this place. Ordered the prime rib. It looked so good I didn’t have time to take a photo until after. 😂😂
The owner was wonderful. She recommended the prime rib so I decided to order it. Homemade rolls as well.
Definitely recommend this place for anyone in the area.
Okay. So. If I lived in the Mt. Hood area I would eat here at least once a week.
Maybe more.
Definitely not less.
Very cozy atmosphere, great customer service, bomb food!
We will be back.
It's very rare that you get to meet an owner who is more worried about whether you are fed well and happy with the service, than worry about the bottom line. There are not enough stars in the night time sky to give this restaurant!!!
That being said, the food was mouth watering beyond belief. And the service was second to none.
It should be known that you DO NOT have to stay at the Mount Hood Village to be able to fill your belly with great food and have a polite hostess.
P.S
They love birthdays as much as I do, and even took the time to make my girl feel special on her special day singing her happy birthday!!!
Prices were amazing and everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered the french toast, kids silver dollar pancakes, BTK burrito, and Greek omelet. Food seemed to come out at a reasonable time even with a large order. They brought out kids food first which is always appreciated! Service was great - we were checked on frequently and offered coffee refills frequently. Overall it was a good visit and we would come back again.
Very cute and quaint cafe right off the highway, delicious home cooked food, and a family atmosphere! Would definitely eat here again! 💙
We stopped for lunch - and were very glad we did! The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly. A great little cafe.
Best cafe on Hwy 26! Food is great, Bisquits and gravy are the best! Service is great, but be aware- it's not a big place, maybe 50 seats total, so maybe call ahead to check how busy they are, but it's worth the wait!
A true hidden gem! Experience and superb technique can be found in the kitchen at this hard to find but easy to enjoy diner. Don't pass up your chance for some crispy crunchy steamy hash browns, or a cooked-to-perfection chicken fried steak. I've never had such perfectly cooked, glistening, sunny side up eggs. And oh my goodness, the freshly baked bread heavenly. WHAT A TREAT! I will be coming back for the Father's Day prime rib dinner for sure, which is regularly available on Friday.
