Touch Of Spice

Our group wanted some good Indian food near the Ferry at Port Imperial. Parking was a challenge on a Friday night. Just go around the block. We had vegetables and rice, onion bhaji, vegetable Pakora, and garlic naan bread. It was quick and delicious. The leftovers were good even 2 days later. Very gentle and kind people who ran the place.

It was nice to find an Indian restaurant in Weehawken. The restaurant is located at Park ave which is a busy avenue, but at a right spot. Its walkable from ACME, so shoppers can either do a take out or enjoy their meal. Street parking is the only option I think. About the restaurant. It has enough space as shown in the photos. Except Mondays they have a lunch buffet which I am yet to try. Did a couple of take out orders which has been good so far. The delivery is also prompt. The staff are friendly.

The only good Indian restaurant I know in Weehawken, Union City, North Bergen, and surrounding area. It's ideal for both takeouts and eat-in. They have lot of options for veg and no-veg items on the menu. We went in a group with lot of kids without reservation and they happily arranged the sitting considering a small space. The staff was really cooperative. We ordered lot of food out of which I really liked some of them. Most of the dishes were mild which was perfect for kids. Loved the spicy daal, pakoras, paneer tikka, and rice. I'm picky about garlic naan, samosa and biriyani. Definitely recommended.
