Honey Dew Donuts

Went inside to place my order and it took awhile. There were 3 of them and they were all tending to the drive through. They were nice but slow. The doughnut was okay, I ordered the pumpkin spice which was the last one and was a bit hard. Ordered a frozen mocha latte. Wasn't sweet enough and too icy. Not sure I will return.

I had gone in for a coffee and a bagel the shop it obviously had a very busy morning and one of the employees was obviously having a very bad day nonetheless my order was taken and things were going fine until a woman came in Who was upset about getting an incorrect order and having already driven down the highway Before she realized it the woman behind the counter was helping her when the employee who was having a bad day decided to add commentary that everyone in the store could hear that this customer was making a big deal out of nothing! The customer was not being rude was just a little upset because she had the wrong order and was waiting for it to be corrected but as soon as this employee started adding her commentary it certainly made the customer feel even more less valued! The employee also reached over the counter and grabbed the bag and threw it in the trash very rudely! After the customer left the employee started to bad mouth her right in front of me!!!! I couldn’t help myself I had to say something to the employee telling her that she was out of line and should never have treated a customer like that! She went on to defend herself saying that the customer wanted a gift card etc. and that wasn’t so until the customer started hearing the bad commentary! The employee who is taking care of the customer was taking care of the situation and the employee who was having a bad day should’ve just gone home! I don’t think this is normal for the store and I don’t normally post bad reviews but it was very upsetting to see somebody in a customer service position behave so badly!

Food is better tasting and inexpensive in comparison to dunks, the coffee doesn’t taste burnt and is generally sweet enough and actually very tasty. And the ladies at drive up are always so friendly. Was using The Dunkin’ right down the way with the Santander atm but the attitudes coming off of some of those girls was getting to be a bother so I thought I’d try something new and I’m glad I did.

Always been a dunks guy but stopped in Honey Dew a little while back and it's the only place I go now. Friends love their smoothies and teas also a lot larger variety than the other place. But what won me over more than anything is the staff very friendly and polite. And some amazing happens here that you dont get at the other place your order is correct.
