The Lodge Restaurant

This is the second time we have gone to this place and all I can say is it’s like a hidden gem in Webster!! The pizza is authentic and so fresh, the fries are honestly the best I have ever had— how is this magic possible! Both times they had a special that was in their marquis that did not show up when ordering online and they gave me the credit for the special without me even having to ask—the first time this happened I was so impressed and they said “we believe in treating people right”-this is incredibly apparent. If you want to try food that is crafted not line cooked this is the place.

The wood fired, brick oven pizza was delicious!!! Bright, fresh, homemade sauce!! The dough was also homemade and spot on!! The renovations look fantastic! The pizza oven is visible from the bar/dining room and there are more renovations to come soon. Very excited to try their multiple varieties of pizza and other wood fired cuisine!!! Great to see a local business that was closed for multiple months due to covid use the time to invest in themselves and make positive changes!! Bravo to the lodge!!!!!

Just went back with a large group and what a great place food is amazingly good hot fresh so welcoming when you walk in the staff is so great helpfull nice great atmosphere .the wait staff all worked together to handle our group and did a fantastic job .The old steakhouse is back !!!! But not for steak and that's a good thing !!! For pizza and it's the best pizza in town now !!!! The menu is short and sweet but enough to choose from, if you don't want pizza ,and the deserts are great too, the atmosphere is great the bar area is large and spacious and a nice comfortable vibe ,the dining area is big and wide open with the large windows and the big wood fired oven is just cool to look at and it just feels right having a seat in the dining room to eat .the wait staff very friendly and nice and very knowledgeable of the menu, try the pizza and you won't be disappointed ,I have lived in the area nearly 50 years and the lodge has had its ups and downs ,but the lodge is back and better then ever , would highly recommend the lodge .

Ate at The Lodge for the first time and the food was excellent. Had the wood fired meatball and the “summertime” pizza. The big meatball was served with marinara sauce and came with a side of ricotta that was delicious and fluffy. The meatball, red sauce and ricotta were great together: Delicious! The “summertime” pizza was also excellent! It was loaded with mozzarella cheese, lots of chicken and tasty red onions. The crust was just right, not too thin and not too thick with great texture and a bit of flakey bubbles on the crusts’ edge. The service and staff were also excellent, very attentive and quick! Will definitely be back to try more of the delicious food soon!

We haven't been here in a few years, used to LOVE this place and everything that used to be great is gone. They used to have wonderful bread with dinner which they don't offer, and the menu is very minimal now, not a ton to pick from. Waitress took forever to get to us and service was horrible. Got the mozzarella bites for an app, concept is GREAT but they came in a soggy pool of grease left on the plate, they weren't properly drained when taken out of the fryer which was gross. The French fries with my wife's dinner were soggy, and tasted like the oil in the fryer needed to be changed two weeks ago. Gross. This place used to have fantastic food and even better service but not anymore. =(

Worst restaurant experience ever! We understand that places are short staffed and we were a large party, but half of our party got their food and the rest of us got our meals over the next hour! The food was very good (once we got it), but then it took forever to get our checks. Our server was new and obviously needed help. We tried to be patient but this was totally unacceptable! Our group has been going there for over 10 years. Never again.

If I could give no stars I would! Took forever to seat us when there was no one else in line. A very small menu. The server did not know what sides came with the meals. Once we got our meals the pizza was cold in five minutes. My mom's salmon was raw in the middle. Then they wanted to charge for the salmon after sending it back. The staff was very rude. It was freezing in the building. Will not be returning.
