Bistro Eighty Ates

Another fantastic meal and experience at Bistro 88. Had the beef wellington with risotto. It was unbelievable and the cinnamon bourbon bread pudding for desert. It was to die for! You can't beat this place for the quality and price. The owner and staff are great! Wonderful service. You can't go wrong dining here.

Visited for the first time for trivia. I had called to confirm my online reservation and the lady who answered the phone was very accommodating. Once I arrived I was greeted by her and our waitress Jen. Jen was one of the best waitresses we've ever had. She shared her favorite dishes with us and was very attentive and kind the entire night. The food was very tasty and arrived pretty quick. Our drinks were filled accordingly throughout the night despite the large trivia crowd. I will definitely be back !

I would say good. Not great, not fantastic but good. Service was good. Drinks a little slow. My duck was pretty dry with little to no sauce. Fried goat cheese was excellent and the wife had the scallops wich were very good. The maple bacon bourbon bread pudding was fantastic! I would definitely return, just not every week.

My friend and I went for lunch. Our service was good. She didn't forget anything and didn't make us wait. She was friendly and upbeat. I got the salmon with balsamic reduction and risotto and my friend ordered the chicken sandwich between two grilled cheese. Thr kitchen gave home made sweet potato fries as a mistake but quickly brought out her onion rings. Thr food was tasty and we both enjoyed our meals! I will def go back.

Staff was attentive, and friendly. All staff I came into contact with wore masks properly. Atmosphere was classy and comfortable. Restrooms were single person use and very clean. I had a sprite. I started with the brisket bites. The brisket bites were delicious. A great combination and great value for price. I would have liked a bit more of the onion in it as I didn't taste much of the onion but overall wonderful flavor. The brisket melted in your mouth and perfect amount of sauce. I then had the side caesar salad and I would have liked it a little colder when served but overall perfect ratio of lettuce, dressing, croutons and cheese. I enjoyed the monte cristo melt which was a special today when I went in. It is the perfect brunch sandwich. The way the flavors blend together with the maple syrup really bring it full circle. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. Presentation of all plates was exquisite. The price was great especially considering that they have so many options that are not something you get to enjoy everyday. All in all I would 100% recommend eating at eighty ates.

Beyond disappointing. Beef Tips with mushrooms and onions sauce was so sickeningly sweet that was all that could be tasted and the Haddock with crab truly was worse than Panko plain balled up and heated. For 70$ for two would have done better at Apollo's Pizza. Not sure if the dishwasher was doing the cooking but won't be back.
