My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised to find that Empire Pub serves food till late night (1am). Since Covid it seems that everything in Rochester is shuttered by 8 or 9pm. We tend to eat later and after driving by so many times decided to try the Pub. It is now owned by Bill Trakosis (also the owner of the Nutcracker Family Restaurant, on Empire Blvd). The food and service were great and prices were certainly reasonable. We will be back many times!

Big review guy. Let me tell you, this place is full of good energy. The owner hung out with us, the bartender Taylor might be the top 2 jk top bartender of all time. She will make you feel like family. What an amazing place. With really good food. Also drinks are fair so come here and enjoy a good time. Most reviewers are angry elfs don't listen to people who are angry. Come to empire and have fun gotta play dragons ascent. Could win never know... stay happy thanks for a good time

Top tier establishment and service. Wings were fantastic - big, juicy, and priced at $22 for 18 which is appropriate. Highly recommend the Werewolf wings - grilled to perfection and perfectly slathered in sauce. Also hope you get Stephanie as your bartender, she's a gem.

I only get to go and I always get the same thing; werewolf wings. You can only get them here and they are awesome. Not sure about the service if you dine in, but the place seems ok

It's a neighborhood pub, not fancy, but it's friendly. Barmaids are great. Barstools are not comfortable imo.
THEY DO A FABULOUS FISH FRY on Fridays. We order a drink then order fish fries to go. I like breaded with fries and cole slaw. I have seen other food orders and they always look great. Have yet to try anything else from their menu, but I would say the quality and size of their fish fries is a pretty good indicator of the quality of food from the rest of the menu.

The last owner drove this place into the ground. The newer owner isn't new to owning businesses and is doing his best to revitalize a good atmosphere with solid food. The bartenders are a lot better and the "rough crowd" is gone.

Very good, not great, onion soup. Delicious and huge sandwiches (I had a tuna melt there once that was terrific), and pretty decent burgers. Friendly staff. Outrageous Fish Fries on Fridays. Nice atmosphere.
