The food was delicious. Service was good too, little bit of waiting but then it was lunchtime, so understandable. The portion, however, was small, even for a lunch portion. I figured with a subtotal of $162 for 3 people, at least it would be enough food. Overall... great food, good service, small portion, and overpriced.

The Cobb salad is amazing!! Tins of lump crab and shrimp
We shared it and still had some left!! The shrimp.amd salmon lunch is also on point!! Our server Tavis was attentive and accommodating and just joyful soul!

We went for a birthday party with a group of 14 (which we understood would affect times and all that) 4 of us had to sit separately as they could not fit another table. Everything was very nice but the waiter did toss the bread on our table. The food was very good though!

The food was delicious and the waiter named Gavin was so polite. He made sure that I was well taken care of with my food sensitively. It's getting harder to find places that make me feel good having eaten, but this place is a winner.

Took the family here for lunch today. I have eaten here before and it's always been great but this is my first time leaving a review. Showed up and waited about 35 minutes which was a little longer than expected but it was busy. I would definitely suggest if you are coming for lunch to make a reservation. After we were seated our waitress was amazing. I don't think any of our drinks ever went empty as for more than a minute or two which is a big plus for me as I drink a lot. We ordered an appetizer of cheese stick bites which were hot and really good. While ordering the waitress even presented an option that was not on the menu. The owner actually caught a swordfish out on his own personal boat and brought it to the restaurant to sell. After we ate I really regretted not taking her up on that offer. Anyhow we all had fried platters except for one person getting the shrimp Alfredo I think it was called. Even had some desert at the end which was super good. I had the brownie with caramel drizzle and vanilla ice cream. Was really glad we came for lunch as it was a good reminder that we need to come more often as we eat out a lot.

Food is always good. Yesterday, our waitress Amanda did absolutely perfect by recommending sword fish and, so far, the best I've ever had at Pappas. We loved Amanda's great customer service and professionalism, always attentive, and made sure we were getting the best experience ever while dining at Pappas.

F: I tried the shrimp/crab cocktail. Very delicioso! I put too much salsa but man does it give it a mouth-watering kick. Tried 2 of their new drinks: Spring Fling and Practice what you peach. By far Spring Fling was delicious! Keep it on the menu!
S: Sat in bar and had a superb attention, but they didn't offer me bread! I like bread. I like food. I'm a fattie. I feel sad.
A: I like where I sat, couples around me enjoing their meals as well. Very busy when I arrived (also lunch hour), but didn't wait at all to be seated.

I had an absolutely amazing experience for my first visit to Pappas Seafood House. Marcus was our server and demonstrated one of the highest quality dining experiences that I have ever had. I let him know that it was my first time visiting and he offered a full tour of the menu, excellent recommendations on appetizers, main courses, and drinks, and even threw in some Pappas history for us. Marcus is a true asset to Pappas and I will ask for him every time I come here. The food was delicious. I went with his recommendations which were the mozzarella cheese bites and the Blackened catfish and Shrimp etouffee and was blown away! This Pappas Seafood House earns one of my top places to eat in Houston!

Took our nephew and girlfriend to a birthday dinner. The food was delicious!! The server was very attentive and took really good care of us, considering he had a big table. We will definitely be going back.
