Bay Side Pub

Service was great, drinks and food were also enjoyable. I got the fish sandwich and paid extra for onion rings, my friend got the chicken Caesar sandwich with the chips that come with it. Everything was great. Service and food arrived quickly. Our waitress also checked on with us very often. Great place!

What a great little hideaway along the bay. enjoyable little drive just to reach this tiny spot. The building itself is nothing to look at really. One can tell it was a former summer cottage converted to a bar and grill, which...well, really adds to its charm to be honest. I mean you can almost feel the American entrepreneurship in the air. We were greeted by a friendly and genuinely courteous staff who seated us promptly. We were however just a party of two. The seating is generally that of picnic tables which adds to the fun of being bayside and watching the boats go by. If there was anything negative to say about the view is that perhaps the dock should be rebuilt, looks like she's about to fall in. The atmosphere is peaceful as generally most customer murmur amongst themselves. But alas my friends we didn't just come for the view we came to eat! Sooo. My girlfriend and I thought the grill smelled wonderful and selections mouth watering; but the prices were a bit too high for what we were looking to spend on a Monday night for a quick bite out. DO NOT let that stop you from trying it though. I can't vouch for the taste but the smell was fantastic. We both ordered the chicken breast sandwich, that I have to say is one of the better if not the BEST chicken breast sandwich in town. The marinade was great and the chef grilled it perfectly. The Kaiser roll was fresh and soft like it should be and the lettuce crisp and well prepped. I even made my way to the kitchen to tell the cook what a great job he did with the sandwiches. The fries are great if you enjoy crispy battered fries. (I do! Pretty sure they use Lamb & Weston for you hardcore foodies out there.) So all in all great spot for a quiet, yet no so lonely, getaway along a beautiful shore.

It seems that this will be the last summer you may get to enjoy a meal and a drink at this establishment by the water on the north end of Irondequoit Bay as they appear to be closing this winter. So how about one more pint as you listen to the live music and enjoy tasty grill options. I did very much enjoy their Bayside Burger. The double bacon cheeseburger had great texture and was seasoned well. The soft baguette style roll was a pleasant surprise. I'm looking forward to frequently visiting this West Webster gem by the shore before it's gone. Side note - the fish fry here is also a fantastic Friday option. Also, be aware that this restaurant is a cash only business.

Omg. If I could give this place 20 stars, I would. Everything we were served was AMAZING! Our super down to earth and friendly server, Blair, made this part of my Mother's Day just relaxing. This place is very small inside but has ample outdoor seating which is ideal during the COVID-19 phase reopening. I was expecting greasy sauce-laden pub food but was pleasantly surprised by the grill menu. With corn, potatoes, and vegetables on the side, it was very tasty and quite healthy. We did order fries and onion rings, they were definitely home made and quite tasty too, but because of the menu options I didn't feel stuffed and guilty from deep fried everything. The grilled salmon, shrimp, and chicken were all delicious.
