Applebee's

I'll start off saying that the cook and I must have pretty different opinions on how a "rare" steak is cooked, but the steak did taste good even so and beyond that, was very tender for being overdone. The mashed potatoes were also really good. The garlicky green beans were sort of flavorless to me. The prices per portion sizes are really high in my opinion, you can get bigger, better steaks at a real steakhouse for the same cost, but they do offer pretty decent 2 for 20 deals for a quick bite. I do think that if steaks are sold at steak house prices, they should be steak house quality including if you ask "how would you like that cooked?", and are told "rare" Cook to order and not arbitrarily just make it what I'm guessing is between medium and medium well.

The restaurant was really clean. They were practicing efforts established for Covid-19. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and if we needed anything he was right there and happy to help. The lady who seated us was not so nice. She did not smile one time taking us to our table and was not friendly in any bit of the word. I am not sure she knew what manners were. The food was good and done to order. All in all it was a pretty good experience. We went late and were served quickly. The two people who who waiters took care of everyone and it was a very enjoyable time. They were fast and friendly. The place was clean. The food was really good.

This was a really awful outing. We have an 8 month old. Our waiter explained to us that she could not sit at the head of the table because it blocked the walk way. It didn't, but okay I thought. 10 minutes into our meal a table is seated behind us with a different server and they put their child at the head of the table no questions asked. This is not day ruining just annoying. We get our food, my burger is in a puddle of grease. The other two meals had been sitting under the hot lights in the back and were just not good. The icing on the cake of this trip was the bill. My table is sitting finishing our drinks and looking over the check to make sure it's accurate. The waiter asks if we can hurry and pay it so he can go on break. Then after taking it tells us that if we need anything else to yell and someone will come. I know Applebee's is by no means a high end dining experience. This however is just unacceptable. Bad food, bad service, and not worth the money.

We visited the Applebee's location on Washington Township Blvd 6/11. Everything was going well until the waitress spilled drinks on one of the members of our party. She apologized and went to get something to help clean it up. We chose to do carry out because of this. While we waited for our to go order, the manager never came out to see if we were ok, nor offered us new drinks while we waited. When we got our food home ( a short 5 minutes), it was not hot and some of it was not cooked entirely. We are regular patrons of this establishment, but after tonight, we will be rethinking our return. I wpuld have rated tonight zero stars if I could.

i work in customer service and am aware of people have bad days or dealing with rude customers. with that being said, how do you expect to be treated well if your staff is nasty or hanging up the phone right away on customers? to say the least customer service voice, and proper care to their customers needs to be corrected and fixed.
