The Silverspoon Restaurant

My family and I come here very often. Silver spoon is quite possibly one of our favorite restaurants on the Mainline. Michael is an amazing waiter and so is everyone there. Food is amazing no matter what you get and I’ll NEVER get tired of the truffle fries. 10/10 would recommend making this your families new favorite spot.

Food was fresh and delicious, the caramelized (pork) bacon is a must try!!! It looks like they change the menu up every few weeks where you get to experience something different every time you go. They also offer BYOB of wine and spirits for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is my sister and I new favorite sisters day spot!!!

We arrived for a reservation that was confirmed not once but twice. We were seated and then ignored by our assigned waiter, Micheal, for over 20 minutes while other tables were greeted, provided a run down of the menu, and able to place an order. When we finally asked about why we were being ignored our assigned server gave the poor hostess grief and told her to just wait on us. This poor individual was just a kid had never been a server, was not familiar with the menu or even old enough to open a bottle of wine. Thankfully one of the other servers, who was wonderful and kind, stepped in to assist. We made the most of it but were profoundly disappointed and will not be returning, which is sad as we had had numerous enjoyable experiences in the past.

I brought my mom here for a late breakfast.. we waited for a long time for the food to arrive and our sever was just average, kind of disengaged and aloof, but the food was very good and the portions were decent as well.. there was the inside and outside seating.. would like for them to have screens where the windows are to keep flies and other flying insects out, but it was otherwise clean and a good experience.. just had to move away from this table where a man was sitting with a loud hacking cough and the seating was tight, making it worse but otherwise would come back again.
