John & his team are amazing! They catered our small COVID wedding and did a fantastic job. The food was great and everyone at the wedding loved it! Everything was reasonably priced and delivered on time, both fresh and hot. I would highly recommend South Main BBQ!!

All I can say it WOW. Ordered the ribs and definitely was not disappointed. The meat came clean off the bone it was tender, moist and delicious. The cornbread was hot lite and fluffy. The sides of Mac& Cheese and the sweet potato casserole where outrageous fantastic. And the side sauce was just right I would definitely recommend South Main Street BBQ to everyone. Kudos to the owner and the pit master for an amazing meal. I will be back. P.S. try the brisket sandwich had it before it was excellent

Ordered from here for the first time tonight. We love Waxhaw and for whatever reason have never tried the BBQ from here. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. The pulled pork and sides were delicious and we’re so happy to have tried somewhere new. I always think it’s important to leave good reviews especially during this time. Please support this local business you will not be disappointed. Thank you!

Amazing food. I got the pulled pork and it wasn't fatty or greasy but it wasn't dry which is a feat. Great portion sizes and served quickly. Staff was exceptionally friendly.

Excellent BBQ, had a family gathering and ordered just about everything from their menu. All was delicious and Owner/Pitmaster John Crane is a wonderful down-to-earth host. We’ll be back and will spread the word. Look for their Killer Q food truck.
