For once I wasn't disappointed, It was pure Heaven...

I love a good philly now and then so when I found this place in Waxahachie, I didn't have high expectations. Let me tell you something...this place is the real deal! Best Philly I've had in years! I got the Texan and it was amazing! Stop by its worth the trip!
Philly Natives loves Straight from Philly. Straight From PHILLY truly won my husband and I hearts today with the original taste of Philly cheesesteaks and soda. Delicious!!! We are natives of Philly. We moved to Waxahachie a month and a half ago, and was homesick for our native foods. We were told about Straight from Philly on Sunday and had to visit. In the future, we will definitely visit for more of our native foods. We highly recommend this restaurant.
It was one of the best Cheeseburgers I have ever had. It took a little while for the food to come out but it was definitely worth the wait!
After reading the rude review I had to check it out. I loved my Philly. Great value and quality, but I kept waiting for a dramatic incident with the staff. Very disappointed to say that nothing but boring friendly prompt service
Ridiculously Addictive. I work in Waxahachie 3 or 4 times a month and saw this place in September after they moved to their new location. Now I eat at Straight from Philly about 3 or 4 times a month. I try to find excuses to drive the 60 miles from my house to there. I have tried a couple of different menu items, but always keep coming back to the "Texan". It is a philly with perfectly seasoned delicious beef, melted gooey provolone, grilled onions, tons of crispy bacon and heaps of jalapeno slices. All of that is piled high on a delicious bun that holds up to the very last bite with out blowing a seam . Crazy. Seriously crazy. If you are within an hour of Waxahachie and appreciate great food, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.
Amazing Food and Service. I have to agree with the reviewer (johnbbq) before me. Let's be fair - you can't base your review and experience during an event which drew 50,000+ people to this little town. I'm a repeat (weekly) customer and I've never had anything but great food - always fresh and great service. The previous review was a horrendous and really inaccurate. CLEAN PLACE, FRESH FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE! Can't ask for any more. Oh and try them anytime during the week, you'll be in and out in a flash.
Super Food. Just read the review of October 27 by an unhappy diner. In my opinion, it was completely unfair. Straight From Philly is located on Main Street, 100 feet from the Bob Phillips Festival site on the courthouse square. This years' festival drew a record 50,000 people! EVERYONE waited for food, at the festival vendors AND the surrounding restaurants. It is a wonder it did not take longer. Straight From Philly has incredible food, and one of the friendliest owners you will ever meet. His new location couldn't be nicer or cleaner. I say all this as a competing restaurant owner down the street! Fair is fair....These guys do a great job, as indicated by the other reviews on Urbanspoon.
Absolute Best Philly Cheesesteak!!!! It's worth stopping in my 2 hour commute!!! I'll stop here every time!!!!

This was one of the best Philly steaks I have had. Great service. The only comment i have is it felt little pricy, but i would visit again.

Came on a recommendation of a friend that these guys had the best cheesesteaks anywhere, and wow, they were not kidding.
The cheesesteaks are outstanding and delivered piping hot (you'll want to let them cool down a minute or two) to your table. They use quality shaved steak (no fat or fillers) that's seasoned well and served on a soft warm hoagie bun. Multiple combinations to choose from and they offer a rotating daily special.
Family owned and operated in downtown Waxahachie. Give 'em a try, you'll be back.
What a great meal! The jalapeño sandwich was delicious and the curly fries were far above par! Very clean and comfortable. Flags of the armed services on one side, U.S. and Texas on the other. Philly's flag on the end. Hospitality is by design, not an afterthought. If you haven't had a Philly sandwich lately (or even if you have) get over there today!
The chicken cheese steak is delicious! We'll be stopping in again very soon. Everything was so clean and the staff is super friendly. I have nothing negative at all to say, we were very pleased with our lunch, the staff, the atmosphere and the location. It was just right!
Great Philly cheese steaks! They'll make you feel like you're back in Philadelphia. I usually never eat vegetables with mine but they cooked and seasoned them so well it gave them a great taste. 10/10 would recommend.
Great 5star sandwich, over seasoned,super salty french fries, i would keep it simple, with just a little bit of salt, Christmas music was way too loud. I would turn the neutral music on the moderate volume.
Love this place. The owners are sweet. Consistently good philly cheese steaks. Broad street bully and the Texan are our favorites. Scalding hot so give it a few minutes to cool down or you’ll regret it later. Love the bacon potato wedges!
