I stopped in here for breakfast on my way to skydive and ordered the chicken biscuit with cheese. IT WAS AMAZING! This is one of those small restaurants that has someone's grandmother/grandfather in the back doing the cooking. Southern style delicious food. I am excited to try the rest of their menu. Great sweet tea!

Hearty helpings made from scratch at one of the town's local diners. If you prefer a robust vinegar-based slaw, then you must try this place! I recommend the open face roast beef w/ 3 sides.

I thought the food was good and all, but then I took my leftovers back home and decided to feed some to my great dane. Next thing I know my dog is keeled over on the floor, and unfortunately he passed away. I don't know what they put in the food to do this but it needs to be looked at.

I would give it zero if I could. Sams used to be super great. Not too oily and great service with decent seasoning and flavor. After this last purchase made on 12.29.21 I will never ever go back. The shrimp was overcooked and massively under seasoned. Didn’t even have salt level under seasoned. The vegetables were cooked to hell and back and were just absolute mush. Basically spent 20$ on inedible food. Didn’t even bother asking for a refund I didn’t wanna be in there anymore so bad. Do not waste your time. I’ve never ever left a bad review on anything before but this particular restaurant has been going downhill since it was renamed and owned from David’s Place. Same Diner was okay but now being renamed the Rusty Rooster I would and will never go again.
