Every time.......food is delicious (especially the burgers and cheese/pizze fries), atmosphere is welcoming, excellent selection of beverages, and amazing setup/decks! Love the new wine/bourbon bar downstairs!
The Trading Post has had some bad reviews in the past because service has been sketchy - particularly at busy times like Sunday breakfast. But they seem to have added additional staff in recent weeks, and the experience has improved greatly. The waitresses are friendly and attentive (Thanks, Tammy) and the food is reasonable. Even if you don't want to eat, you should stop in for a drink to see the building.
Stopped here with a bunch of guys on a golf trip. It's a cool looking place inside and out. One of the guys got a huge pretzel, and when I say huge I mean huge! I tried a little piece and it was delicious. It was soft, and chewy and light and just amazing. We got 3 pizzas to go back to the place we were staying, and those were delicious as well. Perfect thin crust, excellent cheese and sauce with a generous amount of toppings. I would definitely stop here again if I am in the area.
The breading on the fish was light and crispy. Not greasy at all. Nice variety of fish selections. Plenty of seating and great atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable. Great selection of drinks and top shelf.
We were in town for my birthday and girls week and was told to go to Trading Post for meat raffle and food. We had a blast everyone was extremely nice and made us feel like locals, and everyone in the bar sang happy birthday to me and my fellow birthday buddies! We will be coming back!!!! Thank you for the amazing hospitality!
My neighbor and his wife said let's go for a road trip to try a new bar/restaurant and so we did

Just seeing the inside of the bar and the atmosphere within alone it was worth the trip but certainly enjoy lunch there as we did

Awesome place to stop if your snowmobiling or just out for a nice country drive. Fantastic pizzas and awesome tacos. Beautiful view of the river. Had one of the tastiest bloody Mary's here, made right with horseradish, mmmm. Live music on Thursdays around noon by a group of local acoustic musicians. Deffinatley stop back when I'm back in the area.
Love this place. We have a cabin nearby and coming to the Trading Post is one of my favorite parts about going up north. They do a killer Moscow Mule and the bartenders are really cool. Beautiful view from the back outdoor seating, we always see deer or cranes. The wood seats and tables are gorgeous.
