Pho in the middle of no where? You guest it. Wow! Just as good as Chicago! We vacationed an hr away and wanted some pho! Good Vietnamese owner. Many Hmong employees but owned by a Vietnamese. This place does it right! Everything was authentic. We had pho(1. beef special), egg rolls, Thai iced tea, spring rolls, and Ka pong(curry noddles). The Ka pong needs some help but the pho was perfect. No need to travel to Chicago. We had the pho in Milwaukee and both this place and Milwaukee were on par. Good to know this place exist. For all those in the Wausau, Stevens point area. Highly recommend! Note, could use some help in the decor area! Very plain. Note2: for all you Hmong pho eaters in WI. This is how pho should taste. Bone broth should taste like 1. “Beef special”. Pure broth. No oil. Big meatballs! Excellently executed. Called “Pho Dac Biet”

4.5 stars. Went around 6pm on a Sunday evening. Was fairly slow. Got seated and ordered a XL pho quickly. Took almost 10 minutes to get it though. Broth is dark and a bit more sweet than I'm used to. But the amount of noodles and meat was exorbitant. Best bang for your buck I've ever gotten. Definitely will go again if I'm back in the area.

So disappointing in every way. We waited 1 hr and 18 minutes for our food to arrive. 2 tables that came in after us were both served first(the one was served in exactly 15 minutes.). The wait staff could not be reached. We walked up to the counter to ask about the food after 1 hour of waiting and they wouldn't make eye contact or answer. When the food arrived it was nice and hot,but some parts of my husband's meal were on my plate and vice versa. Once we got it all figured out and started eating we realized the food was horribly salty. So salty we both got sores in our mouths and were sick the remainder of the day. Even the sticky rice was inedibly salty. The only thing I've ever eaten that salty was salt directly out of the shaker. What a horrible disappointment. The two waitresses wouldn't make eye contact or answer questions at the table and we couldn't get more water because they wouldn't respond. We then waited for the check as well. It was a horrible experience and I would never go again. I know Vietnamese cuisine is very delicious,but this tasted nothing like it. It was just a flavourless salt bomb.

Delicious! An excellent place to get some pho. We got the spring rolls and the beef pho. We were served promptly and left very satisfied. The prices are great too. Simply can't recommend a better pho place in Wisconsin. Also check out the grocery next door. You'll be sure to find some interesting goodies there too.
