I was craving something fresh and light, and this place hit the spot. Its a lovely quaint and comfy mom and pop restaurant. The service was stellar, and the food was delicious. Also the servings were plentiful! All and all a great place I’d recommend trying! My friend and I actually split our meal as she wasn’t that hungry. We got an appetizer sampler, the chicken shawarma, and gyro wraps!
This place is downright addictive!!! Not only is the food amazing, but the owners are seriously some of the best people I've ever met .... just the cheerful, fun personality she has every time we are there is enough reason ALONE to give these guys our business! The are 35 minutes one way from where we live, but it's worth it every single time! This time, I went and got food to go and took it home and it was STILL amazing ... it's even better fresh when you dine in. I got Chicken Shwarma and Falafel ...
Side note ... I NEVER liked Baklava ... at all ... until I tried it at Papa Marcos ... hands down THE BEST.
This place is phenomenal! The food is excellent in every way, from the perfect amount of seasoning to the breadth of flavor and texture throughout. I would buy their hummus by the gallon if I could, along with multiple trays of their baklava. The only thing that outshines their food is the excellent service. The owners go out of their way to make everyone feel like family. My family has folks with different food issues, and they made sure to address all of them. They are friendly, kind, considerate, and all-around amazing people. The ambiance is cozy and, added with the relatively quiet atmosphere, it makes for excellent conversation and quality time. My family and I will definitely be eating there again and again. You'd be crazy not to try this place!
I love the food as much as the service! Everyone was so kind! Everything was tasty! I recommend the chicken beriyani rice, spinach pie, and chicken kabob.
They treat you like royalty here. I had a really great experience, and I would highly recommend trying it out. I had the gyro plate. Good portions and the hummus was awesome.
Wonderful family restaurant with great selection of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. We came on Friday early evening and it was very busy but we were able to get a booth in the nicely decorated Abbs very clean dining area. We received prompt friendly service from the proprietor. We had the lamb shawwerma plate and chicken kebab plate with Lebanese bread and baklava. The food was fantastic! Best Mediterranean food we've had in a long time. The portion size was perfect, we were full! Highly recommend if you are driving to/from Chicago/Wisconsin.
Highly recommend!!!! The hummus alone was worth the 45 minute drive we had to get there!! Very clean restaurant. Food was so fresh and flavorful! One of the entrees we chose was not available - so our waiter brought fresh hummus and bread to make up for it and baklava for dessert. Will definitely make the drive for such incredible food!
Everything about this place is amazing! Love the people, the service and most of all the food is just perfect it’s been my go to spot almost everyday now. They really make u feel like u at home and u know home cooked meals are always the best!♥️
Food is excellent in both taste and size. Lunch special is at very low price. visited one week ago, they are short in hands, so they cut the waiter/waitress but still keep the kitchen fully function. The good side is no more tips needed. Good conscience owner and family run business. Will bring my family to enjoy the food and highly recommend to food lovers.
