Review La Hacienda Mexicana Restaurant - Waterville Valley

I came here for dinner after a day of hiking in the area. They are the only place in town open on Tuesday nights during the off season, so that was appreciated. The food was decent with some room for improvement. The chicken in my enchiladas was tender and juicy but completely unseasoned, the only seasoning I could taste in the dish was from the salsa on top. Chips with salsa were pre-packaged but still crunchy, and the margaritas were a little heavy on mix for the price. That being said the bartender was friendly and attentive, and my food came out hot and quick. The place was pretty dead when I was there, so I can't comment on how they handle a rush.

Great Mexican restaurant in the town center, great location especially in the summer, very nice service and people and great food! Hard to get a place in the summer so come early for dinner at around 5pm if you want a table outside

We stopped for lunch on a week day. The time to get drinks and our food was very reasonable. The meal was nicely seasoned and a good portion. The mango margarita tasted delicious, but was a little weak on the spirits for the price.

We had no choice but to check this restaurant out for dinner, as it was the only restaurant open on a Tuesday night. despite the other reviews, our experience was overall pretty pleasant. They were seating outside tables only but we had no wait. Margaritas were subpar, but free chips and salsa and the food was good. I would return.

We have visited La Hacienda multiple times over the summer and have greatly enjoyed every meal! It’s a great location to take the whole family, great kids menu, good drink menu & outdoor dinning combine for a great experience. We recommend their fajitas & tacos - great food for a good price.

I love Waterville and my wife and I had a great meal at La Hacienda. Ate outside and the food was solid, especially the carne asada. The staff is super nice. They even brought a flan dessert on the house when they overheard us talking about an anniversary. Good food, good people, beautiful town. What more can you ask for.

They hosted a private event here I attended and did great. The taco bar was so yummy and had enough food for everyone. The art work around the room made it a wonderful atmosphere. Enjoyed it and would come back again if I'm ever up this way again.

Excellent experience. Very highly recommend if you want a great meal in Waterville Valley. Have eaten here multiples times with family, and also with a large corporate group. This may be the best dinner option at Waterville! Food was top-notch Mexican fare by any standard, espeically in the NH mountains. The mole chicken was outstanding. They make the guacamole table-side, which was a nice touch and very delicious. Drinks were generous pours and tasty. Ambiance is great. Cool decor, and big open French doors let in the summer breeze along with an outstanding views of the surrounding valley. Our server (waited on 4 adults and 3 children) was very good: friendly and attentive.

The food here was absolutely amazing the free chips and salsa you get are amazing. If I had gotten take out this review would be 5 stars. The restaurant is beautiful and themed well it even has a game area for kids, although at $1 a game I hope your kids are young enough they can just pretend to play. The problem is it's very dirty my shoes actually stuck to the floor when I walked and the table itself wasnt the cleanest I've seen. I wish they'd do a deep cleaning and maybe update a tiny bit and this place would be stealler. Absolutely the best food I had in the town square and best value for your money.

Great food! Best Mexican food I ever had. I don't eat meat. So I had a burrito with rice,beans and vegetables. And nachos and cheese,sour cream, beans, and vegetables. Both were so good. Plates were so big. The nachos fead four of us and we had some leftover to bring home. And i can only eat half of my food. Prices weren't bad for the size of the plates. The service was great. Everyone there was so nice!

We had such a great dinner here tonight! Frances was the best server and our drinks were delicious. Try the Paloma it was sooo good and the fajitas and nachos were a great option. We can’t wait to go back again!

The food was great. Our waitress Frances was wonderful! My boys have food allergies and she was excellent answering our questions. She has such a great personality! We will definitely come back here again because of the food and such awesome service.

As always Fernando and his staff are courteous and attentive. The food....phenomenal. Hands down the best authentic Mexican food in the northeast. And for this Texas girl- that means a lot! We love both locations. Lincoln and Waterville Valley.... come try and you won't be disappointed.

Started with warm nachos, unbelievable homemade salsa, and an authentic sangria. Chicken fajita was a very big and juicy meal...Great service and very friendly people. We'll definitely be back soon!
