Luce Line Lodge

I ordered 6 dinners to go last night, Monday 2/1/2021. I was pleased my order was ready for pickup at the time they suggested I come. But all went bad after that. Once I was home, I was VERY dissatisfied. 4 hamburger/fries basket were ordered. One was fine. Two of the burgers were RARE to the point where the buns were soggy from blood. The 4th burger was so burnt that it was black and hard as a rock, to the point it was not eatable, so it was thrown away. Also a Rueben was ordered that tasted good, but within 30 minutes I started getting a severe stomachache, having to spend the next 9 hours in the bathroom violently sick. I can only assume it was food poisoning. This was my families first and LAST time we will ever order food from Luce Line Lodge again.

Went on a Thursday night (8/21). Half capacity at most. Arrived at 7:30pm. Ordered food at 7:35pm (fish sandwich and the special - prime rib). Food arrived at 8:20pm (50 minutes after order!!!). I asked the waitress why the tables that arrived after us were already receiving their food - (they had different waitresses & one table of 3 all had the prime rib). She said she'd check. No apologies or explanation given. Food was good when it arrived, but very disappointed in the service. A discount would have been appreciated for the wait

Best takeout food in Watertown. Order from them about once a week. Have tried everywhere else as well. Lived here over a year now. Trainwreck burger without mushrooms is my favorite. Give them a little extra time if ordering during peak times. Lost one star for website issues and obvious under staffing sometimes.
