So obviously everything was awesome and no complaints whatsoever. Great atmosphere and even better food. I’d highly suggest this place and best of luck to the owners!!!!
You know it’s going to be good when the place is packed inside and out. Service was on point. I loved the cool variety of food in the menu. Brussel sprouts were delicious. Cinnamon chipotle dry rub wings - different but yummy. French onion soup was perfect with cheese overflowing. Live music at 9p was a nice touch with talented musicians but acoustics in the room weren’t in their favor. (No fault of the restaurant)
I saw many happy patrons as I looked around. To me, a great sign this restaurant will do just fine. �
First time to Uncommon Grill on Mother's day 2022. Expected to wait a while for a table, but even though they were very busy, we were seated immediately. The ambiance and decor was a modern rustic look and felt very cozy. Our server Megan came to our table within moments and was helpful explaining menu items. All of our food arrived at our table hot and within good time. Everything was AMAZING. Management definitely knows what they are doing running a food establishment. There was plenty of staff from the hostess to the servers to the bussers, bartenders, and expeditors. Kitchen appeared busy but in full control. A smooth sailing ship. Would absolutely return.
It was a busy Saturday night at the Uncommon Grill in Watertown, CT but the company and atmosphere this evening was perfect for this delicious food and exceptional service!! Everything was cooked exactly as we had requested and our server was on top of making sure everyone was satisfied with their food and drink orders. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again!!
The name speaks for itself, tucked away in a relatively remote spot of Watertown Uncommon Grill is in a rather uncommon place. However, the food here is superb and is presented very well. The menu is great and they have a very nice atmosphere. Great spot for dinner and a drink or just to hang out. They have a nice outdoor patio as well for the warmer months.
Heard great things about this place and it lived up to the hype plus some! Loved the industrial decor, there's a cute outside patio, but the show stopper is the food!!! Every last thing we got was DELICIOUS! From the Uncommon calamari (tossed in sweet Chilli sauce) to the fried chicken and a pancake (never had mashed potatoes like that it literally blew my mind), even the humongous shrimp and risotto. We all shared and could not stop raving! We will definitely be back and I HIGHLY recommend!
Our server Ashlyn did an amazing job, she was very polite, attentive, and had a positive attitude. Great recommendations (ask for her section) if you plan on checking out their menu. The food was incredible. We sat outside on the patio. Good vibes. Will definitely be coming back!
