Tequila Mexican Restaurant

Food was good, it was Hot..Margaritas were good. Had to get to boxes. Couldn't eat it all. 03.28.22 Daughter wanted to come here to celebrate her birthday. Again all food was good and hot. As before had to much, had to get to go boxes. 06.11.22 Stopped in after the movies. Got seated quickly. Ordered quickly. Food came out quickly also. Good and hot. Tried the Quesodilla fajitas with shrimp. Very good and was loaded with shrimp.

First time eating here. Going to be a one night stand kind of thing. Average nothing special. The 3 stars is a combination of the food and the ordering process. I ordered a burrito without making changes so that was fine. The hard part is when I ordered a quesadilla and did not want the beans that came inside. I only wanted chicken and the cheese. Then I wanted a side of rice. It was repeated so I felt like the odds were good. Not so much. I should have known something was wrong because when I got there to pick it up they asked what kind of meat I wanted in the quesadilla....uh, chicken like we talked about on the phone. Got home and the quesadilla had chicken and rice inside. It’s odd that the quesadilla has beans inside, nobody does that, but even worse when it has rice inside. The extra kicker is that they didn’t cut the quesadilla.

Just recieved the worst meal ever! Pollo Loco! The chicken was so tough that it was either left overs, freezer burnt or over cooked. Maybe all three. The cheese sauce was like brown watery liquid. No hint of cheese flavor what so ever. To top it off the simplest item of refried beans was soup. Had to use a spoon to dig for the 10 beans. Teach your kitchen staff what refried beans are supposed to look like. Rice seemed left over also, definitely not freshly made. This was a try one more time. Last time dining in house my taco salad had so much brown lettuce that I picked through it and half was pushed to the side. Very obviously sub par and disgusting. Waiter had to have noticed but said or did nothing. You used to have decent food but the last 3 times have been a very unpleasant experience.
