East China

Today was supposed to be a good day. My colleagues and I were excited to be able to order some Chinese from here. They had been closed for several weeks. Three of us ordered food from the Kimball location. We all ordered our usuals but One of my colleagues upon getting her food realize that in her fried rice was crab meat, She is allergic. She had already taken a few bites before realizing what was in it. She has some medicine that she is taking now but it could have been far worse. We called the store and informed them of what happened. They denied every word, saying that it was impossible, they did not put crab meat in their fried rice. Three of us tried to reason with them and they still denied it. We asked for a refund and they refused to give us a refund. We used to love going here but now we are refusing to give any East China restaurants our business. If they are going to be so rude and unprofessional and not take responsibility for their actions this time, why would I continue to go their restaurants?
