Very delicious soul food. The women at the counter was friendly. I got the fried pork sandwich and fries and both were cooked to perfection. Will certienly come back.

If you're craving for some home style soul food then this is the place to go. The potato salad is phenomenal as well as the wings. The Chopped BBQ had a little more vinegar than I'm used too but everything else was on point. While we were waiting the cook bought out a sample of tuna salad that was to die for. I will undoubtedly be returning to try more of the menu. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.

I went when they first opened. I order 2 meals & it was disgusting
The Mac & cheese was nasty the pork chops barely had meat or flavor
The greens were watery as ever.
This is why u just order what u know is going to be good like Chinese or Spanish food waste of $35 I’ll never forget it

Not to be rude but the quality of the food was not the best. $30 down the drain! The reviews and the rating of this place does not match the quality. If I were you I wouldn’t waste my money. (I’m not from here either, i came from a town which has the most amazing soul food) I’m disappointed and will not eat from here again.

Mama Sue's Kitchen is by far one of the best soul food restaurants I've been to. The staff was awesome, friendly, professional, and boy can they cook. All of their food is amazing...Definitely a must visit!

I've been living here for almost 3 years and trying to find a decent soul food place. I would go down to NYC and bring food back. I was introduced to Mama Sue's kitchen last week. Yay. Definitely will be going back. Hospitality was excellent

Great home town business please support this place like you do all the Spanish restaurant's , Chinese place , fast food place. This place has quality. Home cooked soul food great for the soul. We need a soul place in the city of Waterbury CT. Now you don't have to drive a half hour to get soulfood support this business and it will stay in business forever.
