Panera Bread

Food wasn't hot and staff was rushed and abrupt. Tables were dirty. I had to clean my own. Drink station was disgusting. Fruit flies everywhere. Spent $35 for 2 chicken sandwiches and 2 drinks. SO PRICEY FOR WHAT YOU GET! I asked if they could re-make my sandwich it tasted like it had been out for an hour. It was cold and dry! Some guy from the back asks again what's wrong. When I told him he looked at me like I had six heads. Pushed the plate with the cold food toward me. As if he wants me to take it back. I told him, no worries, I'll just throw the cold sandwich away myself. Which I did and left. I won't be eating there again ANY time soon. I'm over it! I hate leaving bad reviews. I always try to find something positive to say. But this place has left me no choice.

When I entered the Waterbury Panera Bread on Wolcott St. I waited for someone to acknowledge that I was at the register ready to order. One worker walked past me a couple of times and said nothing. In the meantime a white lady came in after me. When the cashier did come to register she went to the white lady and asked if she could help her. She didn't bother to ask who was first. Of course the white lady went to the register to start ordering. I stated to the worker that I was there first. She just looked at me and continued to take the white lady's order. I promptly left the establishment and will not be returning.

This location went downhill for sure. I live in Waterbury and never had an issue here however I’ve noticed dramatic changes in this location for the past few months now. The staff is not friendly whatsoever and some are have attitudes for no reason. The major disappointment is that they get my order wrong every single time. No joke. I’m super surprised because I had hope the next time it would be right! But nope it’s wrong every time. Not to mention it’s the simplest of orders. I won’t be going back there at all. The employee that took my order needs an attitude check for sure. No reason to have that much attitude with people when no one is having an attitude with her 🥲🤷🏽‍♀️ Anyways y’all have a good holiday !

This location has been a great space for friends and colleagues to meet for years. However, this place has suffered greatly from the pandemic. Their staff turnover has caused the friendliness to disappear. Covid dining room hours and capacity have hurt them big time as well. And as of late, I was left in “Hold purgatory” after requesting a refund for an upcharged you pick 2 item they neglected to put in my pick up order. Funny when you spend more money here, you get less customer service.

Haven't been to this location in a while. Definitely has gone downhill since my last visit prices have skyrocketed and the quality does not match the price. People talking junk behind the counter about customers. Dropping f-bombs left and right talking on cell phones. Paid for a drink but then none of the tea machines were running and you can see the build up on the bottom of the containers. I love Panera bread but next time we'll definitely opt to drive the distance to a different location will not be back
